Welcome to this energy boost meditation.
We can often feel depleted of energy during the day,
Or maybe you got out of bed with low energy.
This short meditation will help give you an energy boost.
This is a quick fix.
If you regularly suffer from low energy,
You may want to look at your nutrition,
Exercise or sleep habits to see what part of your life may need a little attention.
But for now,
Let's give you a little injection of energy to get you through today.
Start by taking a nice long deep breath in,
In through the nose and out through the mouth,
Allowing your body to relax.
Relax your shoulders,
You may want to roll them or move your neck from side to side,
Releasing any excess tension.
Our breath is a powerful tool for energy.
By breathing deeply,
We can oxygenate our body and our mind.
We often get fatigued and find it difficult to focus because we are oxygen starved.
So let's spend a few minutes refueling your body with oxygen.
We are going to breathe in counts of four.
Breathing in,
Two,
Three,
Four and out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four and exhale two,
Three,
Four.
And in two,
Three,
Four and out two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four and exhale two,
Three,
Four.
Now continue to breathe in your own time,
In your own rhythm.
Now take your right hand and give your left shoulder a little massage.
Rub your shoulder,
Waking it up.
And moving down your left arm,
Rub your upper arm,
Your lower arm and your left hand,
Energising and waking up.
Now with your left hand,
Give your right shoulder a rub.
Moving down your right arm,
Rub your upper arm,
Your lower arm and your right hand,
Reviving and waking up.
Now take both hands and rub your thighs and down your lower legs if you can reach.
Rub your hands together and place your hands on either side of your jaw.
And with your fingers,
Massage the sides of your jaw,
From your temples,
Right down to the bottom of your face and back up.
And lastly,
Take your middle fingers and both hands and tap gently all over your head,
Energising and waking up.
Now take one more long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
Waking up the body and mind and exhaling stagnant energy.
