Come to find yourself in a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
Creating the space for your body and your mind to slow down.
Once you have settled,
You can softly close your eyes,
Bringing your awareness to the breath,
Breathing in through the nose,
Breathing out through the nose.
Use your exhalation to sink a little deeper to the surface below you,
Sinking deeper into relaxation with each exhalation,
Sinking deeper into trust,
Into the support beneath you.
Use your inhalation to bring in lightness to the body,
To bring in softness,
To bring in ease,
Breathing in softness,
Breathing out relaxation.
Just noticing how the whole body feels as you bring in softness and relax deeper.
Can you feel tensions,
Worries,
Toxins slipping away from the body and the mind?
Can you feel the chest expanding with more space,
With more room to share more love,
To be more giving,
More forgiving?
Simply noticing how the body feels as you breathe in softness and breathe out relaxation.
See if you can extend your inhalations and exhalations so that your next three breaths are the deepest breaths that you have taken all day.
Begin to come back to the space around you,
Noticing any sounds in the room you're in,
Any sounds in the distance,
Noticing any scents or aromas in the space,
Bringing some gentle movement to your fingers and toes.
Whenever you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
