Begin to ground into your space,

Finding yourself in a comfortable position,

Straightening your spine,

Feeling your neck coming into alignment with the spine,

With your chin slanted slightly downwards,

The top of your head reaching up,

Feeling your shoulder blades gliding down your back,

Your sitting bones supported,

Your wrists relaxed.

When you're ready,

You can gently close down your eyes,

Relaxing your breath,

Soften the muscles behind the eyes,

Relax your temples,

Feel your forehead relax and all the space in between your eyebrows,

Relax the jaw,

The tongue,

The teeth and the gums,

Just feeling your face and your whole head relaxed.

Take three deep diaphragmatic breaths,

Feeling the whole body relaxed,

Feeling the whole body supported,

Relax your heart and your chest,

Relax your entire torso,

Feel your internal organs relaxing,

Relax your hips and buttocks,

Thighs,

Calves,

Ankles,

Toes.

Take three deep diaphragmatic breaths,

Now bring to your awareness something that you wish to shed,

Something to release,

Bringing to your awareness something that you no longer need to hold on to,

Something that is blocking you in your life.

Maybe it's a habit,

An emotion,

A trauma,

Bring this to your mind's eye and simply notice how you feel.

Now with appreciation and gratitude for this thing in your past,

Offer it now to the earth,

Feel it melt away from you and picture it sinking into the earth,

Picture it transforming into something new.

This newness is exactly what you are wishing to bring into your life at this time.

All that space you have just created by letting go,

You are now filling with all your goals,

Intentions and desires.

As you bring them fully into connection with your being,

Bask in the feelings of wholeness that is brought to you.

Take three deep diaphragmatic breaths.

Beginning now to come back to the space around you,

Start to notice any sounds,

Sounds close to you,

Sounds in the distance.

Come to notice the air quality in the room,

Any aromas or scents.

Bring some gentle movement into your fingers and toes and whenever you are ready you can gently open your eyes.
