This is for the moment,

Right after the car cuts you off,

The parent snaps,

The stranger is rude,

That tiny spark of anger in your chest,

That urge to prove them wrong.

That's when you pause.

You don't need to carry it.

You don't need to drink their chaos.

Instead,

We choose to breathe.

We choose compassion.

Let's reset together.

Take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the nose or the mouth.

Again,

In and out.

This moment doesn't need to be perfect.

It just needs to be honest.

You're not bypassing.

You're meeting the heat softly.

Let your shoulders soften.

Let your jaw release.

Feel the body just as it is.

No fixing,

Just present.

Now remember that moment,

The trigger,

The flash of fire.

See it from above like a scene from a movie.

You're the sky now.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Send love to your system,

That beautiful nervous system that just tried to protect you.

Inhale and send kindness to yourself.

You are not the reaction.

You're the one who is witnessing it.

Let your heart fill with golden light,

Like warm sunlight.

Let it bathe you.

And now can you share even one drop of that love to the person who triggered you,

Even if they don't deserve it,

Especially if they don't deserve it.

That's where your power is.

You get to break the pattern.

You get to be a bringer of peace.

When you meet a storm with stillness,

You become the calm.

This is not weakness.

This is true power.

You just did that.
