Blue sky between the thoughts.
This is a short meditation that we're going to do together,
So find a quiet spot,
Get a comfortable position,
And feel your body be supported.
Let the breath be soft.
There's nothing to change.
Just begin by arriving right here,
Right now.
Feel the ground beneath you,
And notice where your body meets your seat,
Your feet,
Your spine.
Breathe into those points of contact.
You're allowed to be held.
You're allowed to soften.
Now gently bring awareness to the breath.
Noticing it,
Following it,
Like a soft wave that flows in and out.
You don't need to change it.
Just be with it.
Each inhale arriving,
Each exhale releasing.
Now shift your attention inward.
Imagine you're watching a quiet sky,
And your thoughts are clouds drifting across it.
Some thick,
Some fast,
Some light and wispy.
You don't have to change it.
You just have to notice them without judgment.
The sky doesn't resist its clouds.
It doesn't hold on to them or push them away.
It simply holds space,
And so can you.
Now gently see if you can find that space between the thoughts,
Between the clouds.
Even just a sliver,
A breath,
A place where nothing is said,
Yet everything is.
Once you find it,
Let yourself rest in that small gap.
Like parting clouds revealing open blue sky.
And as you find that space,
Breathe into it.
Let it enter all of your cells.
A cool sip of clarity.
A quiet pulse of rejuvenation.
You might see that sunlight in the sky,
But it poured gently into the crown of your head.
Weaving through your head,
Into your heart,
Down through your belly,
Into your legs,
And into the ground.
Not to change anything,
But to remind you stillness lives here too.
If thoughts return,
That's okay.
Just let them drift and return again to the breath,
To the space,
To the sky.
As we prepare to close,
Feel your breath one more time.
Feel your body.
Feel this moment.
You are more than your thoughts.
You are the awareness that sees them.
Gently wiggle your fingers.
Stretch if you need to.
Take one full breath and let it land.
Let it integrate.
You're here.
Remembering the clarity doesn't always mean silence.
It means space.
Come back here anytime you need your inner sky again.
