A meditation for overwhelm and clarity.
Begin by arriving.
Anchoring the body and anchoring the breath.
Feeling the earth beneath you and your breathing moves slowly into stillness.
Now inhale slowly.
Drawing the breath in through the nose.
Feeling the air soften you from within.
Exhaling,
Releasing anything held too tightly.
Let the breath clear the space.
Behind the eyes,
Imagine a wide blue sky.
And see the clouds begin to thin.
With each breath,
Seek the space between the clouds.
That blue,
That open,
That quiet.
Allow the blue sky to land inside you.
Gentle sip of spaciousness,
Settling.
Now breathe into the heart.
Feel its rhythm.
Feel its warps.
You're not fixing anything.
You're just arriving.
On the exhale,
Let tension release from the heart,
The earth.
From the overwalk well to the soil.
Inhale again,
Gathering simple appreciation built in your chest.
The kind of gratitude that asks for nothing.
Just the grace of being.
Release identity.
Release the urgency to fix or to finish.
Let it all fall.
Now from this calm center,
See the project or the challenge that overwhelmed you.
But zoom way out.
Send it out.
Send it love.
Not because you understand it.
Because you're no longer inside of it.
It is not you.
You're the breath that sees in.
This act of remembering.
Inhale again to the heart.
And exhale down through the feet,
Grounding anything residual.
Know this.
From here,
Your return will be wiser.
Gentler.
More whole.
You are not the overwhelmed one.
You are the one who chooses coherence.
And in this choosing,
You reset the field.
