Take a deep breath in and drop right into your heart.
Now is the time we think of someone or something that's frustrating us right now.
Something real,
Something that's actually sitting with you.
Don't push it away.
We're not skipping past the frustration.
We're reclaiming the power in how we carry it.
Breathe into your heart and let that rose gold light build there.
Put your hand on your heart if you wish.
Feel that light.
We're not denying the frustration.
Or not pretending it isn't there.
We're letting the light loosen the knot around it.
Creating a little space.
Breathe love into your heart.
And let it expand out.
Deep breath in to the heart.
Now gently bring that person or situation to mind.
The one you've been carrying.
Hold it a little bit at a distance and keep breathing fully.
And loved yourself first.
And then when you're ready,
Out towards the situation or the person.
This is an embodiment practice.
It isn't for them,
It's for you.
It's to lighten what you're carrying,
Not to diminish what happened,
And not to diminish your own discernment.
We're just creating some space so that you can respond instead of react.
Feel some gratitude that you get to choose how you meet this.
Softening in your heart.
Let the breath move through the frustration rather than around it.
Exhale.
Let a little space open between you and the situation,
Between you and the person,
And send that love out.
Breathe in.
Exhale.
Sending love,
Zooming out,
Coming back to your heart.
This is one of the best things you can do when a situation feels bigger than you.
Not to bypass it,
Not to diminish it,
And not to tolerate behavior that is not acceptable.
This isn't about excusing anything or telling yourself to put up with something you shouldn't.
It's about giving yourself the room to act from clarity instead of frustration.
Because the goal was never to change them.
It's to change the version of you that walks into the room.
Take one more breath in.
And let that space stay within you.
Carry this with you.
As always,
We rise together.
