This is a live recording from my Sit Raleigh Meditation group that meets every Tuesday night in Raleigh NC. This is the last in the four part series of talks and meditations on the Ten Perfections or Paramitas as they are known in Theravada Buddhism. These four, Truthfulness, Resolve, Loving Kindness and Equanimity round out this list of wise and wonderful states of mind and heart that are cultivated through our practices. Practices of meditation, following the precepts and effort towards embodying the Buddha's Noble Eightfold path. My perspective on all the teachings are this - through study we gain an ability to understand the concepts being taught. Through contemplation during meditation we get to know how this information shows up for us, both initially and over time. During this meditation I suggest looking inward during all the prompts - seeing where they show up - in the body, In the heart or citta, an in the mind.
