
What Is Kinesiology?

In this video, I share what Kinesiology is. Kinesiology at its core is all about movement: movement of the body, the Meridian Systems, the Chakras, the Aura, and our Emotions. By connecting with how our body is feeling, we can learn to release and trust ourselves and how we navigate through life.

Hello.
My name is Carolyn King and I am a kinesiologist.
I've been a practicing kinesiologist now for over 15 years and seen thousands of clients in my clinic.
Kinesiology at its core is all about movement.
And as an energetic kinesiologist,
We look at not only how the physical body moves,
So how our muscles move through space,
But also the energetic systems of our body.
So we're looking at things like the Meridian system,
Which draws from traditional Chinese medicine.
We also look at the chakras,
The auras,
And other energy systems in and around the body,
Looking at the cells,
The organs,
The bones,
The muscles.
So we're really looking at the way the energy moves through our entire being.
And this includes our emotion.
We have to remember that our emotions are transitory,
Meaning they move through us.
However,
When we get stuck in our emotions,
They can get stuck in our body,
And this can cause pain and disease.
So as a kinesiologist,
What we do is we tune into the body.
We generally communicate with your unconscious mind through an indicator muscle.
So we're muscle testing one of your muscles to talk to your unconscious mind.
And that tells us where the blockage is,
Potentially what the blockage is,
Where the blockage came from,
What the emotion is.
And it also helps us determine what the best course of action is to clear that blockage.
Also,
As a kinesiologist,
I'm very passionate about helping people reconnect with their body.
Noticing how they feel.
Noticing how they feel in certain situations,
Around certain people,
In certain places.
Because when we can connect in with our body,
We are more connected with our gut feel,
That intuition,
And our higher wisdom.
All of those things help us navigate life a lot more easily.
And when we're connected in with our body,
We begin to trust life.
I see so many people that are so disconnected from their heart and their body,
And they're stuck in their head.
And that's what causes anxiety and stress and depression.
And what I do is help them to connecting with their body and start to see the world in a different way.
So in a nutshell,
That's what kinesiology is.
It does go to so many different depths.
But what I will be doing is sharing some videos.
