Hello,
Today I want to share with you one of the tips that I use in my clinic all the time to help people that are navigating through anxiety and stress and to help calm down the brain.
So the first thing I'd like you to do is place your fingers,
We've got three fingers here,
One in the dip just here and the other two on either side of your sternum,
Just under your collarbone.
And I just want you to hold these points while you're breathing deeply.
And what these points do,
They're called neurovasculars in kinesiology,
And they help to calm down the brain or the brain's response to stress and anxiety.
And you would hold that for about 30 seconds.
And then you would move on to two points on either side.
Of your jaw.
And again,
We're just holding these for about 30 seconds.
And remembering Breathe deeply.
And then once you feel some pulses under your fingers or after 30 seconds,
I want you to go into hookups.
So hookups is placing your hands out,
Flicking them around.
Interlacing your fingers cross one foot over the other It's almost like you're hugging yourself and I want you to breathe in deeply through your nose.
And then breathe out through your mouth.
We want three bricks.
And then you unwind,
So bring your fingertips together.
Uncross your legs.
And do the same breathing.
Breathing into your nose.
After your mouth.
Three breaths again.
So there you have it.
You can do all those activities for a little bit longer if you need to.
But give that a go.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
And remember,
Happiness starts with a smile and empowerment starts with a choice.
Bye.
