Here is a meditation to help you rewire your brain to create new and life positive habits.
So closing your eyes,
Allow your body to relax.
Knowing you are safe and protected at all times.
Begin by taking in three deep,
Relaxing breaths.
In through your nose,
And out through your mouth.
As you exhale,
Allowing any stress or tension to leave your body.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Allow calm and relaxation to shower your head.
Allowing any tightness from your head and your neck to disappear.
Allowing any tightness from your head and your neck to disappear.
Now releasing any tension from your shoulders and your arms as your hands and fingers relax.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Allowing this sense of calm to travel down your spine.
Embracing your back,
Your stomach and your hips as they all relax.
Allowing this release to now remove any tightness from your thighs and your calves as your feet and toes relax.
Feeling yourself embraced in ultimate peace and feeling as light as a feather.
Now see yourself standing in a beautiful green field.
In this field is a beautiful garden.
This is your special place.
A place you can go to at any time for peace,
Relaxation and just to connect with your inner self.
So just spend a few moments looking around this beautiful space.
As you look around,
You notice that there is a forest in the distance.
This forest is a representation of your brain.
Today we are going to help your brain rewire to a more positive habit.
You begin to walk towards the forest and as you do,
You see a path that is separating the two halves of the forest.
You first walk to the left and explore the forest.
Here the trees are in alignment.
People are working with purpose,
Almost like an office.
You navigate your way through this area,
Just becoming aware of what is going on.
Are there any situations or dramas that need to be resolved?
Just spending a few moments resolving any dramas that come along,
Knowing that you have the wisdom and insight to do so.
Now that the dramas are all resolved,
You look around the entire area and become aware of how you can make this area more efficient.
So again,
Spend a few moments just moving things around so that the area looks neat and tidy.
Now that you've done this,
You are able to clearly see the habit or habits that you wish to replace.
Consider the new habits you'd like to install into your brain.
And now move things around in this office area,
Imagining that the new habits are taking over and replacing the old habits.
Now that the area is clear,
Take a look around and become aware of the habits that you wish to replace.
See them playing out.
Just noticing what you become aware of as you watch these habits playing out.
Now choose to implement a new habit.
See how this new habit would play out.
Notice what you require to implement to have these habits play out the way you wish to have them play out.
You may need reminders in your phone or reminders around your house.
You may need different equipment or help from someone.
So as you're looking at this new habit playing out,
Just become aware of what you need and see yourself bringing whatever it is you need into the forest.
Watch how this new habit plays out easily and effortlessly.
Now that you have created the structure for this new habit,
You smile to your face and walk back to the middle of the forest,
Cross the path and go to the right side of the forest.
In this area,
People are having fun and being creative.
You see painters and writers,
Actors and photographers,
People flying overhead and others playing.
You watch this fun space and again,
Become aware of any dramas or situations that may be arising.
You know with your knowledge and wisdom that you can resolve any dramas that arise.
So spend a few moments in this area just resolving anything that comes up.
Now that the dramas and situations are resolved,
You look around this play area and you see how everyone is getting along.
Spend a few moments just optimizing this area if there's anything else that needs to be changed.
Now that this area is working optimally,
We want to feel how it feels to have this new habit implemented into your life.
This time,
I want you to imagine your new habit playing out,
Only we're not going to be so focused on the detail.
We're going to zoom out and see how this habit is going to change your life.
Seeing the big impact this habit will have,
Feeling how it will feel to have this new habit play out in your life.
So spending a few moments just experiencing the habit,
Experiencing the flow on effects,
Feeling how it feels in your body to have this new habit play out.
Now that you can see the bigger picture of how this new habit is going to flow into your life and the impact it's going to have,
You can smile to yourself and you walk back to the center of the forest,
Back to the pathway.
Now spending a few moments on this pathway,
We want to ensure that the left side and the detail of the habits can easily flow to the feeling and the big picture of the habits on the right side.
So just noticing if there's anything in the path that needs to be cleared out of the way.
Again,
Using your wisdom and insight,
You are able to clear any obstacles.
Now that the pathway is clear,
You step back and you look at all you've achieved today.
You look over to the left and you can see your habit playing out and all the details that you need to attend to,
To help you help this habit play out.
You look over to the right and you can feel and see the big picture of how this habit is going to change your life.
And then you look down the path and you can see that both sides of the forest are communicating easily with each other.
The energy is moving from one to the other back and forth,
Rewiring your brain to help this new habit easily come into your life.
This pathway is now optimized.
You look up and you see that the sun is shining brightly overhead and the sun's rays light up all parts of the forest,
Including the pathway.
This habit has now been wired into your brain and you smile to yourself,
Knowing you have made real changes today.
You walk back out of the pathway and back to where you started,
Back to your garden.
As you do,
You may notice that your garden has changed a little just with this new rewiring in your brain.
So just spending a few moments looking around your garden,
Again,
Smiling to yourself and feeling grounded in your body.
And just spending a few more moments seeing this habit now easily playing out in your life,
Feeling the impacts of this new habit,
Knowing how it will impact your life going forward.
.
And then when you're ready,
Bring your awareness back into the room where you are and back into your body.
Wiggling your fingers and your toes and taking in three deep,
Grounding and energizing breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Opening your eyes when you feel ready.
