Assume a comfortable position either sitting straight up in a chair or lying down on a supportive surface.
From a comfortable position,
Take in a deep breath in and now breathe out.
Empty your lungs completely.
Let's do this once again.
Take in full deep breaths,
Never strained or rushed.
Breathe in strength,
Breathe out tension.
Release all worry and relax.
Continue to take full deep breaths.
Allow your breathing to discover its own natural,
Unhurried pace.
Breathe and relax.
Allow yourself to relax.
And as ideas,
Thoughts,
Distractions enter your mind,
Which they will,
I invite you to allow them to go gracefully,
Without attachment.
Now as you sink into comfort and relaxation,
See yourself enjoying a waterfall of sunlight and crystal water,
Warm,
Bright,
Cleansing,
Healing water.
As the sun and water cascade over your body,
You absorb the healing oxygen carried inside your blood vessels through your whole system.
The oxygen heals and releases the holding contraction of each muscle.
Every muscle becomes open,
Soft,
Expansive and relaxed.
All tension gives way to ease.
The cascade of warm sun lights from the sun reminding you of the source of all energy.
Your whole being sings with release and renewal as the source refuels with strengthening,
Healing,
Light.
Let your body and spirit bask in this light.
Know that in healing,
All is possible.
As you heal your spirit and body,
Your gifts to the universe emerge.
The healing vision of cascading sunshine and water is yours whenever you need it.
You're breathing naturally with each in and out breath flowing,
Healing and relaxing you.
Relax your toes and feet.
Relax your ankles.
Relax your knees.
Relax your leg muscles,
Keeping your breathing deep and relaxing.
Relax your fingers and hands.
Loosen up your wrists and elbows.
Relax your arms.
Your breathing is slow,
Calm and peaceful.
Each breath nourishes you.
Feel your feet and legs get heavy and warm.
Feel your hands and arms get warm and heavy.
Simply breathe.
Really relax as your thoughts come and go.
Bring your attention back to the breath.
This is your anchor.
Center on your breathing.
Let go of tension as your body melts into a state of peaceful relaxation.
Unclench your jaw.
Relax your face and let your tongue rest on the front of your teeth.
Your heartbeat and breathing are steady and serene.
Your abdomen is soft and warm.
Your limbs are heavy and warm.
Relax.
Watch your thoughts come and go like clouds in the sky.
Your hands are warm.
Your forehead is cool.
And your breathing is deep,
Natural and relaxed.
Feel your breath sink deeper and deeper into your lungs.
As your shoulders drop,
Feel your breath fill the upper part of your chest.
You feel relaxed and peaceful.
Your breathing is deep and relaxed.
Warm hands,
Cool forehead,
Empty your lungs completely.
Hear the silence grow as your mind quiets down.
You are completely relaxed,
Calm and centered.
Your heart rate and breathing are steady and calm.
Warm hands,
Cool forehead,
Breathe.
Relax.
Enjoy the quiet.
When it is time to leave this calm place,
Begin to bring yourself back to the space you're in.
Gently take a couple of breaths.
Pause for a moment and invite yourself to allow the relaxation,
The calm,
Tranquil feelings of peace to integrate into your body.
Remember,
You can always return to this place of calm at any time.
It may only be for a moment,
But it will remind you of the sense of peace that's yours.
Place your hand on your heart.
