Good morning.
I am Candy Foster and I am a mindfulness meditation instructor and a Reiki Master Teacher.
Thank you for joining me today.
I find my morning practice to be so important to my day and have made it a mandatory part of my mornings.
Life just flows so much better when I start my day off in a slower and more positive light.
That being said,
Let's begin.
Please find a quiet place where you will be disturbed and you can find a nice straight spine.
Let's get comfortable and take a deep breath in through the nose,
Filling the lungs.
Let it out through the mouth with a audible release.
Take another deep breath in and release it as far away as you can.
Let's take one more deep breath in as big as you can.
Hold it at the top for a moment and let it all echo out through the mouth.
Now let's settle down.
Just follow the breath in and out slowly and softly.
Really focus on the path of each breath.
Letting go of all thoughts cluttering your mind with each exhalation.
As those thoughts rise up,
Just acknowledge them and let them pass by.
Visualize yourself sitting in the grass on a warm morning.
The stream softly trickling next to you.
As you acknowledge the thoughts,
Just let them float down the stream.
Like a trickle of the stream,
Calm down.
Letting go of all thoughts and emotions.

You notice your body soften and relax from the top of the head to the back of your neck and the sun is just soothing each and every muscle.
Your back and your torso let loose and as your hips relax,
You settle into your grassy seat a little deeper.
Your legs relax all the way down to your toes.
You feel each breath flowing through your whole body.
You feel more and more relaxed and calm with every passing moment.
Sitting here in such comfort,
Soaking up the sun's rays,
The calming sound of the stream.
Let's start to come back to your physical space,
Noticing your environment around you.
Ready to start your day,
Allowing it to flow as easily as that stream.
Let's take a deep breath in and release.
Start to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Come back when you're ready.
