When I say rise above the stress,
I don't mean toughen up,
Suck it up,
Get over it,
Or push it down.
Quite the contrary.
In this meditation,
We will take a good look at the stress in our lives,
Feel it,
And then release it.
This is how we need to deal with not only stress,
But any emotions in our lives.
Stress is the cause of 90% of chronic illness,
So this is so important for us to manage well.
I would love to help,
So welcome.
Will you find a comfortable place and take a deep breath in and a full breath out.
Breathe in again fully,
Deeply,
And out again fully and deeply.
Take one more deep breath in and let it all settle into a softer,
Gentler breath and allow each breath that follows to start to calm physically and emotionally.
As your body softens and your mind quiets,
Come to a place of detached awareness,
That place where you can just be the observer.
As you observe,
What is the source of your stress today?
Bring these things to mind without judgment,
Without attachment.
Just observe.
Take this time to feel it,
Feel the stress,
Feel the situation,
Feel it clearly as it really is,
Leaving behind any story that has been growing out of it.
Just feel it for its truth.
Now take a deep breath in and on the exhale,
Let it all go.
In your mind,
See it leaving your body with the breath.
Feel it leave you.
Now all of the surrounding stories,
Assumptions,
And negative thoughts around the subject or situation with it.
Just let it all go.
Come back to the breath now.
Breathe in fresh new energy.
I want to fill you up with each breath from your toes to your knees,
Hips and thighs.
Breathe that new energy up through through the base of your spine,
Your sacral chakra,
Your solar plexus,
And up to your heart,
Your throat,
Your third eye,
And all the way to the crown of your head.
Sit with this feeling of being fully revitalized and fully regenerated,
Risen above your stress.
Enjoy this moment.
Let's take a final deep inhalation and let it all go.
Come back to your physical space.
Bring some light movement into your body.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
I hope you have a fully stress free day and that you remain above it.
Namaste.
