I invite you to find a comfortable seat or lie down.
Gently close your eyes and take a slow deep breath in through the nose and exhale softly through the mouth.
Allow your breath to relax.
Allow your body to relax with each breath.
Feel your shoulders start to drop.
Consciously allow your jaw to soften.
Notice your body settling into the support beneath it.
Now bring your awareness to your connection with the earth beneath you.
Imagine roots growing from the base of your spine and the soles of your feet reaching deep into the soil.
These roots are strong,
Nourishing and grounding.
With every inhale,
Draw in energy,
Stability and life force from the earth.
And with every exhale,
Release stress,
Tension and anything that no longer serves you.
Now I invite you to picture yourself in a serene,
Natural place,
A forest,
A meadow,
A beach.
Feel the textures,
Hear the sounds,
Smell the scents.
And allow your senses to fully awaken.
Visualize a soft green light rising from the earth,
Surrounding your body.
This light brings vitality,
Calm and harmony.
Now silently repeat,
I am connected to the earth.
I am supported by nature.
I honor and respect all life around me.
Take a few more breaths,
Feeling the earth's energy nourishing every cell.
When you are ready,
Start to come back to your physical space.
Recognizing your surroundings,
The surface beneath you,
Your physical body.
Bring some light movement into your body and take a deep breath in.
And slowly open your eyes as you release.
You are centered,
You are connected,
You are at home on the earth.
