Let's start our day together with a meditation,

Cross your legs.
Lay down.
Find what's best for you,
The best way for you to start your day.
And once you've settled in,
Close your eyes.
Begin to focus on your breath.
Notice each inhale.
And each exhale As you breathe consciously,
Deeply.
Allow your body to relax.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your jaw.
Relax all the tiny muscles around the eyes.
And across the forehead.
Continue to breathe with awareness.
And allow yourself to be here now,
In this moment.
This present moment.
This beautiful moment.
As you continue to focus on your breath Let go of any thoughts.
That may come up about the day ahead.
Release any attachments you may have.
To projects.
Or appointments.
Or places you need to be.
Or things you need to do.
In this moment we're simply.

Remaining present.
Being with the breath.
Being with the body.
Finding a sense of groundedness.
Steadiness.
We're creating a foundation.
That will support us throughout the day.
Continue to breathe.
Focusing on each breath.
Continue to relax the body.
And for the next few moments,
You'll be on your own,
Creating your own sense of solidity and stability.
Keeping your eyes closed.
Noticing the breath.
Begin to remember where you are.
Feel the earth beneath you.
Or the chair or the bed.
Remember where you are.
The space around you.
Your home.
Wherever you may be in this moment.
Place yourself.
Remember the time.
Remember this space.
Come back to this present moment.
Let's take an inhale together and exhale,
Let it go.
Again,
Inhale,
Deep breath.
And exhale release the breath Last time,
Deep inhale.
And exhale,
Let it go.
Take this feeling with you today,
This sense of calm.
Balance.
Peace.
The sense of groundedness.
Awareness,
Take this foundation with you.
Throughout the day.
Remembering that you started this day.
Meditation.
In stillness,
In silence.
And you learned how to focus on something very important.
You learn how to stay present.
These things will serve you well throughout the day.
