Transcript

Let's take the first few moments of this meditation to find a comfortable position and close the eyes.

Let's take a deep inhale together and exhale,

Let it go.

Again deep inhale and exhale,

Let it go.

One last time,

Deep inhale and exhale,

Let it go.

Notice the quality of the mind,

Notice what words come to mind to describe the quality of the mind.

Become an observer,

A witness to the words floating in front of you.

Detach from the words and their meaning.

Imagine yourself floating,

Completely free of description,

Of being categorized.

Disassociate yourself from the busyness of the mind.

Go out,

Go out and see what is going on in front of you.

If we are not these words that come to mind when we try to describe the mind,

Then who are we?

If we can somehow step back and observe the mind and become a witness to the fluctuations of the mind,

Who are we?

When we were no longer subjective,

When we were no longer swept up in the drama and the story and the back and forth and the up and down,

When our perspective becomes objective,

When our perception becomes clear,

When our perspective is simple,

Who are we?

If we can somehow step back and observe the mind,

Then who are we?

If we can somehow step back and observe the mind,

Then who are we?

Relax the physical body a little bit more.

Relax the jaw,

The shoulders,

The hips.

Notice if you are gripping,

Squeezing something,

Holding on either physically or mentally.

In the next few moments,

Can you allow yourself to just be,

To just be the essence beneath the workings of the mind,

To just be who we are meant to be?

And can you feel the bliss?

Can you feel the joy?

Can you feel the contentment?

Can you feel the sense of belonging,

The unity,

The oneness?

Deep within your heart,

In this very moment,

Right here,

Right now,

Can you believe that you are here for a specific reason,

To do something amazing with your life?

Can you trust that beneath the busyness of the mind,

There is stillness and there is connection to something greater?

And can you believe that who you are,

Who you are here to be,

Is exactly who you are in this moment?

Once we find stillness and once we come home to the innermost self,

The essence of who we are.

Let's take a deep inhale together and exhale,

Let it go.

Gently blink the eyes open.

Have a beautiful day.

I always look at your face going by on my IT feed now and then, and I always think what a nice face you have.today I decided to listen to this meditation, instead of scrolling by. I have to tell you, that is one of the most useful tools I’ve found for quieting the mind and observing my essential foundation. And in just 10 minutes! Thank you , Brian! Namaste, Donna

What I love about this meditation is periods of quiet time to be present and watch the thoughts go by and to bring myself back to the moment. We need silence in meditations to practice stillness. Thank you so much !! ❤🙏
