How would you like to feel today?

Despite whatever is going on in your personal life or around the world,

We can still choose how we would like to show up.

And I'm not saying that it's always easy,

But we can connect to a positive emotion and then allow that higher vibration to color our experiences.

This higher vibration or energy can create a new perspective,

A new lens we wish to see through.

So I invite you to settle into a meditation posture of your choice.

Close down the eyes or perhaps a soft gaze.

Slow down your breath.

Feel the inhale and exhale.

And begin to notice the sounds around you.

Allow those sounds to be part of this meditation experience.

And as you draw more inward,

See if you can still be aware of the sounds around you without reacting to them or labeling them in any way.

This is the process of becoming more present with what is.

Getting used to a little more stillness.

Continuing to breathe deeply.

Now again,

I'll ask,

How would you like to feel today?

How would you like to feel today?

How would you like to feel today?

How would you like to feel today?

And without overthinking it,

Choose one positive emotion,

A word or a short phrase that resonates with you.

Breathe in this positive emotion.

Allow it to fill your whole being.

Begin to create an image in your mind that evokes this particular feeling.

You can make yourself feel more alive.

You can feel your body.

You can feel your mind that evokes this particular feeling.

You can make yourself a part of this image or you could choose not to.

And as you continue to breathe fully,

You can make yourself a part of this image to fill the whole inner screen of your mind so that it is all-encompassing,

Completely immersing yourself in this energy.

Saying aloud or to yourself that positive emotion associated with the image you have chosen.

And as you repeat this feeling,

It then becomes imprinted in your memory.

Breathing it in,

Exhaling fully.

Once again,

Notice the sounds around you.

And slowly bring yourself back into your surroundings.

Notice if anything has shifted for you,

Perhaps a new perspective.

I would encourage you to write down your chosen feeling and perhaps allow it to become an intention for yourself throughout the day to carry with you.

Remembering the image that you created in your mind has a loving reminder of your creation.
