Hello,
My name is Brenda Carey of Sacred Path Healing.
And one of my favorite ways to start the day is to do a deep breath practice with affirmations.
This helps me to energize my day and to focus on what I really want to create,
What I want to manifest from a place of being.
I learned from the late,
Great Dr.
Wayne Dyer who said,
You do not attract what you want.
You attract who you are.
And this practice is meant to connect to this state of being.
And we can start doing this with our breath,
Which the yogis call prana,
Our life force energy.
When we are able to breathe deep and with intention,
This energy begins to flow.
And it begins this manifestation process of bringing into being who we are.
And then we can attract those situations or people or outcomes.
And it flows with ease.
So I would invite you to find a comfortable seat.
Rise the spine nice and tall so you feel the crown of your head reaching toward the sky.
Close the eyes down or a soft gaze in front of you.
And when your next inhale arrives,
Really deeply inhale from the low belly,
Maybe even place a hand there if you would like.
Fill up the whole rib cage.
Feel the breath rise up into the chest,
Keeping the shoulders relaxed.
And then a slow,
Soft exhale all the way out.
And continue with this deeper breathing.
Inhale really draw the breath from the low belly up into the rib cage,
Up into the heart space.
Expand,
Expand.
And then slowly exhale,
Softening,
Releasing,
Letting go.
And continue with this deeper breath cycle.
Notice how it feels in your body.
Notice the expansion it creates.
Notice the softening and releasing that naturally happens with every inhale and exhale.
And as you continue to breathe deeply,
I'm going to say some affirmations to begin your day with positivity and joy.
You can allow these affirmations to wash over you or you could say them to yourself or out loud.
Again,
Continuing your breath.
I begin this day with gratitude.
I begin this day with joy and ease.
I begin this day knowing that there is good in this world.
I begin this day with purpose and a passion.
I begin this day with energy and light.
I begin this day with compassion.
I begin this day with knowing that I am enough.
I begin this day with love for myself.
I begin this day with love for others.
I am a powerful creator.
And I acknowledge this with my breath flowing in and out.
I acknowledge that I am a powerful creator because I am love.
I am love.
Allow the vibration of those positive words to fill your whole being.
Finally ending our practice with one question.
How would you like to feel today?
Again,
How would you like to feel today?
Allow that one word to come into the forefront of your mind.
Say it to yourself or out loud.
Breathe life into this feeling for you are that powerful creator and you get to choose.
Remembering that your breath and knowing that you are love.
