This is it.
It's a good reminder to say to yourself,
This is it.
Whatever is happening in any given moment,
No matter how boring your mind labels it,
Simply acknowledge that this is it.
When we're fully recognising that this is everything,
It helps us to open up to everything as it is.
It could be standing in a busy queue,
Going shopping for something that is not exciting,
Or talking to somebody.
It could,
Of course,
Be any given experience.
When we acknowledge this is it,
We are not identified with our minds.
We step back and become open and receptive to what's really going on.
Stating this is it helps remind us that right now,
There is no better moment.
Because it's right now,
You can't have a better moment than right now.
Better moments are the mind's story about things from the past,
Which will never be the now.
Or creating a perceived picture of the future,
Which will also never be in the now.
Acknowledging this is it helps us recognise that everything we need is in the present moment.
You are alive,
And the gift of life is so precious.
So,
Take this as a little tool.
Wherever you are,
And whatever you may be doing,
Just mentally state to yourself,
This is it.
As a reminder,
To tune in and expand to what's really happening.
