
Portion Control Guided Meditation - For Weight Loss
Being a Weight Loss and Virtual Gastric Band Practitioner, I have created a series of weight loss recordings and this is one of them. Listen to this recording everyday for 21 days to change the relationship with food and eat in portions to kick start the journey of weight loss.

Hi,
Welcome to another hypnosis recording from Soulmindpower.
Com on controlling portions to lose weight.
Listen to this audio only when your mind does not require your conscious attention.
So let's get started.
I would like you to simply close your eyes.
Focus yourself and lay comfortably on a bed or chair with your hands and legs uncrossed.
And I wonder if you could now focus on your breath.
And become aware of each breath you inhale and each breath you exhale.
That's right.
With each breath out,
Just imagine exhaling all that does not serve any purpose.
And I know you can do it because everybody can.
So just inhale deeply and breathe out all the unwanted thoughts.
That's right.
And get in touch with the feeling of the rise of your chest.
And as you exhale,
Notice how your chest falls.
Let your arms,
Hands and fingers loosen up,
Making them so relaxed,
Comfortable and at peace.
You relax and become even more relaxed as you listen to the sound of my voice.
And each breath relaxes you even more,
Allowing you to drift away into a magical state of mind,
Becoming more comfortable,
Relaxed,
Quiet and calm.
That's good.
I would now like you to imagine a staircase somewhere.
It could be in a building or in a garden or any place that your subconscious mind is allowing you to notice.
Just imagine that.
You are about to go down that staircase of 10 steps.
And each step you go down takes you twice as deep,
Relaxing you more and more.
So start coming down the 10 steps now,
10,
9,
Becoming more at ease at 8,
7,
Enjoying the feeling of drifting down at 6,
5.
Allow yourself to relax even more,
4,
3.
Tell yourself that you are going deeper and deeper at 2,
More and more relaxed at 1 and 0.
And now I wonder if you could just think about all the reasons you want to lose weight.
Just imagine all of that now.
You may want to imagine yourself at your goal weight and goal size.
And just let all of that come right into your mind.
Perhaps you are wearing your favorite dress,
Walking and talking confidently with family,
Friends and colleagues at work.
You have high self-esteem,
High level of confidence.
And all that is right there in front of you.
Just imagine all of that now.
My father's father who was the doctor had told me once that we are born with a natural inbuilt ability to know when we have had enough.
And as we live through our life and move through the everyday experience,
We tend to forget the signals our body gives to stop eating.
When we ignore such signals,
We eat extra,
Expanding our stomach and adding more weight to our bodies,
Becoming lethargic,
Resulting into low confidence and low self-esteem.
We are afraid to go out and meet friends.
We always think about how we are looking in a particular dress.
And how would people react if they see us with so much extra weight and fat on us.
But you have decided to stop overeating and become the confident person that you desire to be.
The time has come to change your eating pattern.
And I wonder if you know that small babies eat so less and they have much smaller stomach than us.
However when they eat more,
They expand their stomach and that only means they want to eat even more,
Resulting into weight gain.
And we can reverse this process and eat less and make our stomachs smaller.
And to be able to do that,
I wonder if you could simply drift back into this current life time,
Becoming younger and younger.
To your teen years,
Becoming even more younger,
Perhaps to the age of 10.
To your nine and then at the age of seven.
Drifting back to the age of five and then four.
To the earlier years when you ate so less,
Much lesser than you do now.
To the age of two,
When your stomach was much smaller,
When you ate so less.
Replace all of that now as I stay quiet for a few moments.
And I wonder if you could now connect yourself to that time subconsciously,
Just to make a connection in whatever way and your subconscious knows it all.
So make the connection right now,
Becoming one with the feeling of eating less and leaving extra food on your plate when you were more than satisfied with smaller amounts of food.
Connect yourself and now create a bridge from that time to the present time and imagine yourself taking steps towards the present time,
Moving on to the bridge,
Looking down,
Perhaps looking at yourself from a distance.
From above,
Seeing your body in shape that you do not like anymore,
But it is from the above,
From the bridge and you look down at yourself.
And as you walk across the bridge,
You know from deep inside that you have now a small stomach of a baby that can take only small portions of food.
Sometimes a stomach of the size of a golf ball,
So small that you can hold it in your palms,
A small stomach can get full only by eating small portions,
Making you feel full after a few mouthfuls.
And you come down to the present day and moment,
Feeling the new shrunken stomach in your body and I wonder if you could actually feel it now,
Experience it now,
Knowing that you can hold just the right amount of food for you to feel full,
To be able to lose weight and to get to the right shape and size that you desire.
And I now wonder if you could now imagine yourself in front of a table with food on a plate.
And as you look at that,
You ask yourself,
Will I be able to eat all of this?
And then you start to eat and as you eat,
You chew the food properly,
Perhaps about 15 to 20 times,
Enjoying each mouthful and flavors.
And when you have had enough,
When your small stomach that is the size of a golf ball now says enough and you leave the food on that plate and you move it away and you get up and start doing your regular course of the day.
Your stomach is the size of a golf ball and it has shrunken,
Making your stomach look so flat and toned.
And with each passing day,
Your tummy becomes flatter and slimmer as you're eating much less and feeling even more satisfied than before.
With each passing day,
You experience more energy,
More enthusiasm,
High self-esteem and high confidence.
And I wonder if you could now imagine yourself six months from now when you have lost so much of extra weight and feeling fitter,
Slimmer and healthier,
So energetic.
You have a nice glow on your face.
You can fit into your desired clothes and size.
You inspire others to lose weight as you have that perfect body that everyone desires.
And one of the days you're called by someone,
Someone that you know for dinner and they have not seen you for six months.
So you wear your favorite outfit,
Drive down and walk towards their house.
You ring the bell and they open the door.
And as they open the door,
They're simply awestruck with how nice and amazing you look.
They say,
Oh my God,
Is this you?
You look so much better,
So fit and so slim.
And you confidently say,
Thank you.
They invite you in.
You move into their house,
Talking and smiling.
Move towards the table where the dinner is served.
And as you look at your plate,
The plate has only that much amount of food which can easily be taken by your small sized stomach.
You start to eat food,
Chewing it slowly,
Enjoying the flavors of it,
Savoring each mouthful.
And from this moment,
You find your appetite is drastically reducing.
Large meals don't interest you.
You don't need them.
You don't want them.
And you certainly do not have them.
And this makes you feel so good.
You feel totally in control of your mind,
Your body and your health.
And these suggestions are firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and grow stronger and stronger day by day.
They grow stronger by the day,
Stronger by the night,
Stronger by every hour,
Every minute.
And in a moment,
I'm going to count you up from one to five.
At five,
You will be fully awake,
Feeling great about yourself.
So start coming up with one,
Higher up with two,
Further up with three.
All your mental,
Emotional,
Physical,
Spiritual bodies aligned at four.
At five,
Eyes open,
Wide awake.
And in body returning to normality.
