This talk is called The Secret of Sleep in only two steps.
This is a very short talk because what I want to say is very easy to say,
But I'm afraid it isn't that easy to do.
Nevertheless,
It will get easier the more you practice it.
These are two tips to achieve a better sleep and to finally fall asleep when you can't.
The first step is to relax and to let go.
It sounds obvious,
But most of us go to bed and try to control our sleep the same way we try to control our lives.
It's important to let go and surrender to your sleeping mind.
If we want to fall asleep,
We need to dream and to dream we need to connect with our unconscious mind,
Which will be the one in charge of our dreams,
Not our conscious logical mind.
And that's where the second step comes about.
We tend to think and conceptualize constantly.
And we apply our language and our concepts to everything,
Including sleep.
This is not going to work.
Dreams come in the language of images.
So drop the words,
Drop the descriptions and allow images,
Forms,
Colors or whatever comes to mind to manifest itself in your field of awareness.
Wait for the images patiently.
Breathing.
They will come.
They always do.
The unconscious doesn't care about words.
Its language is that of images.
Remember,
Dreams will come to you if,
On the one hand,
You let go,
If you surrender and relax.
And on the other hand,
They will come if you allow the language of images to take over.
