
Finally Sleeping
To sleep soundly we have to connect with the images that are presented in our mind and to stop looking for words and concepts to describe our experience. In this visualization, you enter a forest that takes you into the unconscious mind, it prepares you for relaxation and leads you to the world of dreams.
Transcript
Take two deep breaths.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Put aside all the conversations you had during the day,
All the events,
Readings,
Thoughts.
The day has passed.
You're in bed now,
Under a roof that protects you from the elements.
And it's time to relax.
To just be and not to do.
It's time to surrender,
To sleep.
Stop trying to control.
Stop trying to conceptualize.
The dream presents itself in the language of images,
Not in words.
Pay attention to the images that are presented in your field of awareness.
If nothing happens,
Wait with patience and attention.
Breathing.
Give space to whatever arises.
Are there shapes?
Lights?
Colors?
You don't have to name them.
You don't have to think about them.
Just allow them to arise.
Make no effort to see.
Just look at what is already there.
Be open to silence also,
If that's what emerges.
Silence won't hurt you.
Let your mind begin to prepare for sleep.
Time to fall into relaxation.
You will relax at some point.
With every conscious breath,
You relax more and more.
You feel that you enter a space of relaxation.
Imagine that little by little,
In your mind,
A night forest emerges.
You can see the stars amongst the leaves,
The trees and the pines.
The moonlight is weak,
But it allows you to see where you walk,
Every step.
You feel like you hear the crunch of the bark of the leaves on the floor,
Every step.
The wind moves the branches and touches your face and body gently.
You can see in the distance a small lake,
Sparkling silver.
It's a hot day,
The water looks cool and crystal clear.
When you take off your clothes and walk into it,
You lie down and rest your head on the shore.
The lake seems to be made just for you,
To your measure.
The wind is no longer blowing.
Everything seems to slow down at this moment.
The water calms down again and reflects trees on your body,
Submerged.
You're part of that whole part of nature.
Dwell in that state of communion for a few minutes.

An idea comes up in your mind,
A similitude to the smithers by that.
By that nature,
You're part of.
Just by drinking a little water from that lake,
You can go back to your bed and sleep soundly,
All night long.
That's where you get out of the lake,
Put your clothes back on,
Your body is still wet but it feels cool.
You drink some of the water.
You go back towards the forest's entrance.
You feel that the water you drank is already working.
Continue in this state of relaxation,
Breathing,
Connecting with the images that come to your mind.
As you come out of the forest,
You allow your unconscious mind to take you to other places of the dream world.
