The course introduces the theory and practice of Yoga Nidra. This is an advanced practice where we access the altered state of Mind Alert, Body Asleep. There are many uses and benefits to health and average daily life, for example in the sporting world, as we gain a high level of control of our nervous system. The deep relaxation and stress release benefits are also notable. the course gives us a number of practice sessions with plenty of supporting philosophy and background. Two induction methods are presented for a variety of approach. While the material is essentialy aimed for folk already in a regular Yoga practice, most people will benefit from the information and deep relaxation sessions. I further support the practice with detailed information around the spiritual aspects from a yoga perspective and the ultimate goal of yoga for unity of mind, body, spirit and the universal consciousness.

What Is Yoga Nidra And Why This Should Be Central To Our Yoga Practice
Yoga Nidra is an advanced Yoga practice where we access the altered state of Mind Alert, Body Asleep. There are many reasons Yoga Nidra is an essential aspect of our Yoga training. The most important of those being that it greatly facilitates the main purpose of Yoga - the unity of body, mind and spirit.

Things That Help And Things That Hinder
In this module I discuss various factors that either help us or hinder us. These include lifestyle choices, attitudes and beliefs, commitment and dedication and more. The module aims to give us the reasoning behind our motivations rather than simply giving us a prescription.

Let's Practice Together - Preparation And Induction
This is the first session where I take us through an induction protocol that is given step by step. Preparation is essential, so I cover the important points to consider. The modules are designed to be instructional, so aiming to teach rather than simply following along. so we should return to the material many times in order to firmly establish the practice.

Let's Practice Together - The Enchanted Garden
In this module I reinforce the protocol laid out in the previous session. Further we go into a guided meditation designed to help strengthen our imagination in terms of visualization.
Lição 5
Let's Practice Together - Floating In The Silent, Empty Void
This module takes us a step further now into the full Yoga Nidra experience. In this altered state we are essentially out of body since our physical five senses are temporarily dormant. The body enters a sleeping state while our awareness remains lucid.
Lição 6
Let's Practice Together - Five Element Method
In this module we will look into an alternative induction technique that some folk may prefer, namely the Five Element method. This is known as Panchas Bhutas in the sanskrit. Again I use binaural beats to help us entrain to a slow brain wave state. Further I use a 528 Hertz healing frequency track as a backing.

Going Forward From Here
This module takes a summary of the material and a look at some of the options that become more available to us in a Yoga Nidra state. A few of those options include remote healing, mind to mind telepathy, problem solving and more.
