Welcome to this meditation to increase focus,
Improve productivity and remove distractions.
By the end of this meditation you will have a clear idea on what you need to focus on and the motivation to move in the right direction.
Let's begin.
Get comfortable in an upright position.
Sit with your spine straight and supported if this helps,
With your shoulders back and your palms open on your lap.
Take a few moments to adjust yourself until you feel comfortable and settled.
Spend a few moments tuning into your body.
Where do you feel any tension?
As you place your attention on different areas see if you can soften into them a little.
Give yourself permission to let go of tension and invite a soothing restorative energy into the areas that need it the most.
In order to avoid being overwhelmed it's important to focus on one thing at a time.
Even if you have multiple things to focus on right now I'd like you to select the most important thing that needs your attention today.
Take a few moments to reflect on the following questions in order to feel focused and to eliminate feelings of distraction.
Don't worry if the answers don't come straight away,
Allow your intuition to guide you.
What is the one thing you need to focus on today?
Why is it important that you focus on this one thing?
What benefits will focusing on this one thing give you?
What are the biggest distractions you face that might break your focus?
What steps can you take to overcome these distractions?
How will you feel at the end of the day when you have made progress towards the thing you're focusing on?
In order to remain focused and be procrastination repeat the following affirmations either aloud or in your mind for increased clarity and concentration.
I know what I want out of life.
My mind focuses on my priorities.
I can solve any problem that comes my way.
I have the power to make my dreams a reality.
I can figure anything out that I put my mind to.
I am focused and determined.
My abilities are growing every day.
I am capable of completing important projects.
I have the energy to work hard and make good progress.
I focus my efforts on the things I hold most dear in life.
I easily enter a flow state and work without resistance.
I am driven even when things get tough.
I am an intelligent problem solver.
My mind is my best tool for getting things done.
I am taking action in this moment.
My focus is my strength.
I have everything I need within me to get the job done.
I take responsibility for this moment.
I am empowered to take action today.
