Happy Mother's Day.
Thank you for joining me today.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.
As you exhale,
Imagine any stress or discomfort leaving your body.
Appreciate yourself for taking time out for time in.
Do this for three more breaths,
Allowing each one to get a little deeper.
Now focus your attention on your heart.
Think of someone who has been a mother to you.
Either your actual mom or another person in your life who has cared for you,
Loved you and guide you to the person you are now.
My five senses,
All are possible because of my mother.
Only I let go of all that's grown between us and send my love.
We see because of our mother.
We smell because of our mother.
We taste because of our mother.
Your body functions because of your mother.
No matter how you feel about her,
She brought you to this life experience.
Together let's set aside our difficulties and relationship,
Struggles and just appreciate the miracle of motherhood.
Feel the love this person has given to you.
Allow that love to travel throughout your body.
Let's fill up with that love until you are overflowing with it.
Send your gratitude and blessing to all the mothers,
Biological mothers and emotional mothers.
Now take a moment to send this person silent blessings.
Thank this person for sharing her love with you.
Imagine this person overflowing with joy because of you.
Embrace the circle of love created by this exchange of giving and receiving.
Extend this love to all the mothers and children of the world.
Know that this flow of love is universal love.
A mother's nurturing spirit can remind you that you are loved unconditionally each and every day.
