This is Benjamin and we're going to do a practice today we'll call Stealth Kindness.
It allows us to train our minds with an attitude of generosity and compassion.
And if we do this again and again,
It will eventually happen naturally.
So this is a practice about cultivating that attitude of loving kindness,
But it's also going to help us get out of our overthinking mind,
Help us concentrate and focus on what we need to focus on,
And also allow us to enter situations with more confidence and clarity.
And you can do this practice anywhere because it takes place in your imagination.
You can do it while walking,
Driving,
Or even sitting in a space full of people.
You can make this part of your regular practice routine as well because the more you do it,
The more trained your mind will be to express itself through this state of generosity.
Whoever grabs your attention naturally,
Don't overthink it.
Recognize that this person who came into your mind,
Hopes,
Dreams,
Fears,
Regrets,
Memories,
Loved ones,
They have in fact an entire universe.
So in this stealth secret way,
In your mind,
Offer them a simple,
Powerful phrase of loving kindness,
Such as,
May you live with ease today,
And see if you can deeply feel this in your body as you express it.
Allow yourself to enjoy this practice of dropping stealth kindness bombs on all the people,
Or maybe even the people you see in front of you right now.
Just moving from person to person,
Engines of kindness,
Feeling them as completely as you can,
As sincerely as you can.
And remember,
If you run out of people,
You can always return to someone you've already practiced with in your mind today,
Where you can offer yourself a little extra kindness with everyone,
Strangers,
Coworkers,
Loved ones.
