Hello friend,
I am so honored that you have decided to meditate with me today.
I want to invite you to find the most relaxing position possible,
Whether that be seated or lying down.
Maybe place your hands in your lap or on your heart,
Whatever you feel called to do.
Begin by taking a deep conscious breath in and an exhale long and slow.
Another breath in filling your belly and out,
Relaxing more and more.
Allow yourself to turn inward,
Releasing attachment to the distractions around you.
If it helps to close your eyes,
You may do so.
Acknowledging and releasing sounds around you,
Sensations in your body,
Thoughts that may enter your mind.
Just remember to breathe.
Have you ever felt like you were being pulled in two different directions?
Maybe by a choice or an opportunity,
By a person or people,
It can be difficult to trust what comes next.
We can stay in the safety of our current reality,
Or we can leap into the unknown,
Which has endless possibilities.
Here in this moment,
You don't have to rush.
Turn inward to sit with yourself and observe what comes up.
Through this meditation,
I welcome you to take whatever it is you need.
Maybe it be confidence,
Belief and trust that you have the power to control these competing forces.
You have the power of choice and free will to make a decision for yourself,
To trust your intuition and do what feels best.
Maybe you need permission to just pause,
Permission to wait,
Maybe not all of the information you need has been revealed to you.
As you are turned inward,
Just listen.
Tell yourself that you trust that you can make the right decision for yourself.
You have the discipline and the willpower to succeed in your journey of life.
Whatever choice you make will be the right one.
There's nothing wrong with staying in a place where you feel safe.
And there's nothing wrong with choosing a new path.
A new path with unexpected outcomes.
Because my friend,
What if that is your path?
Your path is to take the unknown and see where it leads you.
To explore the possibilities.
If you need to adjust or make a change along the way,
Or if things turn out differently than you expect,
What is wrong with that?
That's part of the fun and the excitement.
What is right for you?
Listen to your heart,
Not only when you are sitting in meditation,
But in the little details throughout your day.
Feel the signs that are being sent to you.
Take a deep breath in and let it go.
Breathe again in and notice the shift.
Do you feel the confidence growing within you?
Let go of your personal power to make any decision,
Whether you're being pulled one way or the other.
It's really up to you,

And one last deep breath,
Inhale,
Exhale,
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Maybe blink your eyes open if they were closed.
Remember that you can trust yourself to make the right decision.
You don't have to rush.
You can always turn inward to find safety and to listen to your own heart.
