Hello friend,
I am so honored that you decided to join me for this meditation.
While deciding on where you want to practice today,
I might suggest that you do this outside or maybe inside,
Sitting in a ray of sunshine,
Feeling the warmth on your skin and as you close your eyelids,
You can still sort of see the light glowing on the other side.
Take a deep breath in and out.
It feels so good to just sit in the sun's light and warmth.
You can imagine a golden liquid beam coming down from the sun,
Just kissing your skin,
Covering your body,
A healing,
Life-giving energy.
Take it all in as you breathe,
Inhale,
Exhale,
As you soak up this light and you begin to turn inward.
You may realize that this golden light beam is actually the light radiating from within you.
You hold the same light that the sun gifts us every day within you.
Your light is your strength,
Your creativity,
And your confidence.
The sun and its light are not just predictable,
But reliable.
It rises every day and every day brings its own set of gifts.
Allow yourself to open and unwrap these gifts.
Now untie the ribbons to the gift that is yourself.
It's okay to step into the spotlight and have your day in the sun.
You deserve the attention,
Respect,
And recognition for your hard work,
For your positivity,
For your joy,
And your warmth.
It's okay to let yourself shine.
Maybe you haven't been feeling this way lately,
Which is why you have chosen to meditate on empowering your inner light.
Allow this to be a rebirth,
A new beginning that is sure to lead to success.
If you can imagine and picture your inner child,
The past little you,
Who was creative,
Who didn't have major responsibilities,
Who was not self-conscious or full of self-doubt.
Just a free,
Shining light.
Are there any aspects to that inner child,
The past you,
Who you could bring back into the present moment?
Any aspect that you could incorporate into your daily life?
Feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin,
Breathe in the healing and empowering energy.
Breathe out the self-doubt,
The worry,
The stress of everyday life.
Hold gratitude for the gifts that you are given each day.
Maybe you could begin to think about or even write down something each day,
Whether it's in the morning or at night before you go to sleep.
Just one thing that you are grateful for,
Something that made you smile,
Made you feel confident.
Something that made you feel seen,
Something that warms your heart.
And when you think of this thing,
You can take a deep breath.
If it feels right to do so,
Maybe place one or two hands on your heart and allow a smile to grace your face.
Give thanks to the sun,
The sun in the sky and the sun within you,
For its reliability.
Because both of those suns are always there.
Yes,
There is the light outside,
There is the light within as well.
You can always return to it,
You can always channel it,
You can always feel its warmth whenever you need.
You can turn inward and allow yourself to breathe,
Channel a new beginning or a rebirth.
To find gratitude,
One more deep breath in and out.
You can sit for as long as you like,
Soaking up the sun and feeling its warmth.
And whenever you're ready,
You can begin to open your eyes if they were closed.
Return to the room around you or the space around you.
Sit up nice and tall.
Maybe raise your chin just a little bit.
And know that you are just as bright as the sun in the sky.
