My name is Joy Brown and I will be leading you in today's meditation.
Take a seat or lay down.
Keep your spine as straight as you can,
Get comfortable,
And close your eyes.
To calm your body and mind,
Take some deep breaths in through your nose,
Filling your chest with air.
Hold for four seconds at the top and then exhale out in a big sigh.
With each sigh,
Let yourself just fall deeper into relaxation.
Let your breathing return to normal now.
In your mind's eye,
Picture a map.
Unfold this map and see how it shows you where you started,
Where you are now,
And where your destination is.
Really look at this map.
Notice how you can zoom in at will and just see how far you've come.
Touch your starting point on the map and you will be transported to a memory of when your self-growth journey started.
Come back to your map.
Unfold it.
Touch it.
And let yourself be transported to a future version of you.
Just simply watch and observe.
