Let's go inward to explore.
My name is Joy Brown and I will be your guide in today's meditation.
To begin,
Take a seat or lay down.
Keep your spine as straight as possible.
Wiggle around and get comfortable,
Then close your eyes.
To calm your body and mind,
Take deep breaths in through your nose.
Filling your chest with air.
Hold for four seconds at the top and then exhale out through your mouth in a big sigh.
Let your breathing return to normal now.
Bring to mind the current project or task you wish you are more motivated about.
Don't judge yourself for not feeling motivated.
Just do your best to stay neutral.
Be observant about any emotions that arise.
Observe where in your body you feel these emotions.
Inside of you is a version of yourself that truly desires this project or task.
Ask them to come forward now.
Compassion and understanding.
Talk with this version of yourself.
Don't be afraid to dig deep into the core of the issue with them.
With the inner version of you,
Ask them what your next step should be.
Is healing needed?
Simply better time management?
Now envision yourself completing your project or task.
Observe how you feel,
How your inner version feels,
Knowing you have accomplished what you've set out to do.
Place a hand on your heart.
Feel into the knowing that you can accomplish this task.
You are more than capable and more than worthy of achieving all you set out to do.
Let's come back now to our present moment.
Feeling our body and slowly begin to move and open your eyes.
