Welcome to this guided meditation on releasing old relationships that no longer serve you.
My name is Joy Brown and I will lead you in today's guided meditation.
To begin,
Take a seat or lie down,
Keeping your spine as straight as possible.
Relax and get comfortable,
Then close your eyes.
To calm your body and mind,
Take deep breaths in through your nose.
Fill your chest with air,
Hold for 4 seconds at the top,
Then exhale out through your mouth in a big sigh.
Let your breathing return to normal now.
Think of the person you wish to disconnect from.
Picture them standing before you.
Repeat these words to them.
With each phrase that is said,
They will take a step back,
Getting further from you.
I release you.
I choose to end all energetic ties with you.
I send back all your energy within me.
I take back all of my energy.
I end all karmic ties with you.
I accept the lessons I learned from our relationship.
I accept my responsibility for my actions in our relationship.
I end this relationship.
Out of sight,
Picture what this release will look like.
It could be a funeral,
A boat sailing away,
Or whatever feels right to you.
Just bring it forward and visualize this release.
Give gratitude for all you have experienced.
Become present now of your body.
This present moment.
Slowly begin to move and open your eyes.
