Falling Asleep In 5 Minutes
What if falling asleep was less about trying harder and more about letting go? In this 5-minute sleep onset practice, instead of trying to force sleep, you’re invited to soften into rest. Through calming breath, quiet pauses, and simple imagery, the mind is given something light enough to hold… until it eventually lets go of everything and drifts into a peaceful sleep. You can listen lying down comfortably in bed with your eyes closed and simply let the images move through your mind without effort. As you do this, you may notice your body relax, your mind slow down, and a calmer, sleepier feeling begin to emerge. Use this for winding down, falling asleep, insomnia, midday napping, or when your body is tired but your mind won’t switch off. Let it become a soft landing place between wakefulness and sleep. Over time, with daily practice, it can become a familiar cue for your body and mind to let go and rest. Music by Bipul Kumar from Pixabay
