You might notice some external sounds or anything else in your body that is grabbing your attention and that's okay.
We don't need a perfectly quiet place,
Whether within or whether in our environment to practice.
So first we will use these to connect with our environment even better.
So become mindful of the sounds around you.
Noticing the sounds in your room.
It can be the sound of my voice or the sound of your breath.
It's okay if distant sounds are more louder so you can also shift your attention or expand your awareness to the sounds around you.
So maybe noticing the sounds of the traffic or the sounds of the birds.
You don't need to chase out for a sound.
Let them come to you and let these sounds be a means to present moment.
Being present through the awareness of sounds.
Now if you haven't already,
Then I invite you to either close your eyes or lower your gaze just to limit visual distraction.
Now place a hand on your heart.
You can place any one of your hands.
Feeling the weight of your hand on your chest.
Connecting to the warmth of this contact.
Notice if you can feel your heartbeats.
Your heart is saying,
I beat for you.
And right now you are here for your heart.
Your heart carries connection,
Emotions and your deepest desires.
So today we are going to listen to our hearts.
See right now,
Can you also hear your heart?
You don't have to pressurize yourself in any way.
Just be open to listening.
To our heart.
And if you cannot hear,
Can you have an intention that may I be open to my heart's whispers?
We often ignore these whispers in the loud noise of our minds.
Or in the hustle and bustle of our environment.
