When we let life unfold gently and effortlessly,
We experience more freedom.
When we unhook the mind from stress in order to see the miraculous in everything our attention touches,
We become aware of the more subtle flavours life has to offer.
And then the mind begins to expand,
We begin to notice the unnoticed,
And a peaceful serenity is experienced.
As everyday miracles touch the heart with tenderness,
We begin to release the grip of fear or frustration,
The direct experience of sound or feelings which flow,
Noticing how a breeze sways in the trees,
And how a mysterious life force animates all beings we encounter.
When we ease off trying to manipulate and control life,
We're met with effortlessness,
Which is much more aligned to flow in more creative ways.
In fact,
From a surrendered space we can appreciate how life begins to move us with very little effort.
And as we get more acquainted with this more spacious way of experiencing,
We begin to witness symmetry or synchronicity moving through the essence of all in wonder,
An event or encounter which coordinates our personal journey with a greater or inspiring unfolding.
When we choose not to engage with the mind which compares or criticises,
We lighten up.
And what could be described as an enlightened mind,
Simply by returning again and again to the joy of everyday miracles.
