In this healing meditation you're encouraged to let go of any stress and allow yourself to feel much more relaxed.

Because when you begin to calm right down you can start to access more lucid states of mind.

And that's not something that must be forced,

In fact you can just allow yourself to let go and feel at ease in the ways that feel most natural to you.

So if you haven't already just make yourself feel completely comfortable and close your eyes.

And bring your awareness into your body.

Noticing the places where you make contact with the ground.

And noticing where you most feel at ease.

Notice your breath flowing.

And as you continue to let go in the different parts of your body you can notice how the breath can help you to breathe out any tension and relax deeper.

Resting deeper with each out breath allowing yourself to unwind and feel much calmer.

With each out breath giving yourself permission to feel completely at ease.

Relaxing is a curious thing,

The way your body can just unwind.

And allowing yourself to feel rested means letting go becomes easier and easier.

Because actually letting life be is the best way to let go.

That is allowing the uncomfortable completely as it is uninterrupted.

Because the more you're able to just be at ease alongside unease the easier it will be to enter into ever more lucid and freeing states of mind.

And as you let go even more you might get a sense of relief which can help clear the way to release even more tension.

The breath breathing alongside all experience.

The smooth ebbing and flowing continuing as body sounds and thoughts drift around like a dance or a kaleidoscope of impressions.

The different flavours which happen to ebb and flow as experiences change and move through awareness.

Sometimes calm,

Sometimes allowed to be whatever appears.

Not trying to feel even more calm but simply observing how life appears to present itself and what that is.

Or how does that happen?

Or who is happening?

Just placing the questions without needing an answer.

To bask in that sense of awe.

Paying close attention to my voice and the sounds and the way they're experienced.

Not necessarily either out there or even in here but directly without grasping or labelling the whole experience of sound.

Spaciousness is letting go of me and mine or you and yours and just being the awareness that experiences the experience itself.

Tension or holding just arises and doesn't need to be owned or jostled with in vastness.

Notice what happens when everything is let go of as either pleasant or a problem and instead just given permission to reveal its ever-changing flavour in space.

And now think about what it is that you would like to heal and where have you been holding or stressing in the last few days or weeks or even over your lifetime that can now just be given the freedom to express itself in the emptiness of your mind.

Like a long forgotten memory that can be seen and allowed with complete calm and peace.

Maybe this dress has a shape or texture which you can be curious about.

Exploring it from different angles or perspectives.

From the outside,

From the inside,

Just allowing it to express itself.

And as you continue to give yourself the space to appreciate the vastness of allowing life in all its forms to touch something profoundly alive.

It helps you to continue to feel totally at ease within a state of all that flowing phenomena.

No need to try and breathe through the places where fear once arose so that the issues which you thought were a bother can begin to unwind or unravel or just be loosened like a strange old memory that's met with childlike curiosity.

As you start to feel a sense of wonder,

Just notice how the body begins to feel enlivened with joy.

Full to the brim with happiness and all those times you felt you could smile because life felt so easy or just plain good.

Ease of laughter or being in the flow while ease was able to move through you gracefully.

The lighter moments of life when you were able to somehow just feel complete or completely open and free and whole.

Healing happens best when you relax and enter into a more lucid mind state.

And when you forget about everything that's caused you pain for a few moments,

You can return to hold any unrest or upset within a warm bubble of calm.

Because somehow when you bring a sense of complete relaxation into your body,

The mind is able to experience whatever emotions arise alongside a sense of ease.

Disentangle the ways in which you once struggled to stay clear in your mind so that you can see things from a different perspective or forgive those who didn't give unconditional love to the whole of your being.

Simply nurture a sense of friendliness towards the whole of yourself.

Like from the outside,

Treating yourself as you might a friend who's able to just simply stop judging or can smile affectionately alongside the whole of who you are.

To feel that unconditional love ebb and flow right into the edges,

Deep into any old feelings of hurt that can now come up and simply be breathed away.

Each breath freeing yourself from where you would most benefit from being able to feel healing currents of inner calm or self-acceptance.

In order to begin to grow and shine confidently.

Like a flower or tree reaching to the sky,

Nothing holding it back.

Blooming through inner nourishment that feeds a sense of self-worth and positivity.

All sense of negativity being healed from the inside out.

Allowing nurturing currents of wholeness to fill your soul with satisfying contentment.

Like a tree,

Drinks sap from the earth and is free to grow into the expansive sky.

Free to reach beyond former limitations to dream a bit bigger or release any fear as any feelings of stuckness are met with unconditional care in an all accepting space of calm.

Undoing and discovering.

Gratitude and ease.

Joy and positivity.

All mingling together so that your whole being can somehow feel like it's light enough to tingle with joy or blissful feelings of calm.

And just as nature can be intoxicating in its abundance,

The bird songs,

The lush green landscapes swaying in the breeze,

The vastness of a clear lake or sea as it shimmers on the surface.

Nature can also be extremely grounded.

A tree rooted to the ground.

A rock is simply just a rock.

Unashamed,

Not trying,

Animals in nature are simply being themselves without complications.

Feet on the ground,

Embodied in this human life.

Getting in touch with that basic sense of just being a part of life,

A part of this dance included.

What does wholeness feel like?

And coming back to your breath.

Each breath flowing in and out.

And coming back to my voice and the experience of sound.

And your body resting as it is,

Continuing to let go of all worries and stresses where anything that felt stuck can now be given permission to be and unravel itself.

Now allowed to express itself in openness.

Keeping the ground beneath you,

Supporting you.

Slowly in your own time,

Just begin to bring movement into your fingers and your arms.

And opening your eyes to allow colour and forms to be experienced directly,

Abundantly.

And in your own snuggly way,

Just bring this healing meditation to an end.
