Allow this warm energy to move into your ankles.
Notice how your ankles are becoming relaxed and warm.

Allow the warming sensation to move up into your calf muscles.
Allow the muscles of your calves to warm and loosen and soften.
Imagine the calf muscles warming and relaxing.

The warmth is now moving into your thighs.
Allow the muscles in your thighs to warm and relax.
Let the warmth move into every part of your thighs.
Loosening,

Relaxing.
Let the warmth move into your stomach and your lower back.
Allow this warming sensation to soften your stomach muscles and relax the spine.
Feel the warmth move slowly up into the upper chest and the upper back.
Loosening,

Warming.
The warmth is now entering and relaxing your shoulders and upper arms.
Allow the warmth to soften your shoulder muscles and loosen the upper arms.
And down through the elbows,
Warming.
And down through the wrists,
Softening.
And warming and relaxing the hands,

Notice how relaxed and warm you're feeling and how still you are.

I want you to imagine or sense that you're standing at the edge of the world.
You're at the edge of a forest.
Notice the weight of your feet on the ground.
And as you imagine looking down,
You can see what you're wearing on your body and on your feet.
The sun is warming your neck and shoulders as you look towards the trees.
There is a cooling breeze coming from the forest and it feels safe and comforting and relaxing to be here.
You notice a trail leading into the forest.
You can see that the grass has been flattened by others passing this way.
And you're curious to find out just where this trail leads.
As you slowly move into the forest,
You can feel the change of temperature to a lovely coolness.
The light and the sounds change.
You are becoming aware of the sounds of the trees and leaves.
The birds singing in the branches.
The birdsong is beautiful and relaxing.
It feels completely natural to continue your journey deeper into the forest.
As you slowly work further in,
The trees are bigger and you feel more and more relaxed and at peace.
The birdsong is a little quieter now.
And you notice how quiet and calm and relaxed you are.
How aware you are of your surroundings.
The sights.
The sounds.
The smells.
Off to your right,
You can hear the faint sound of running water.
This sound relaxes you even more.
And you begin to move slowly in that direction.
The ground feels different here.
There are more leaves and small plants.
It feels wonderful to be this close to nature.
The sound of the water is getting a little louder.
And you know that you are close.
You slowly walk past a couple of trees and you find yourself in a clearing.
The energy of this space is incredible.
And you feel the heat of the sun once again on your head and shoulders.
There is a calming feeling in this clearing.
A sense of safety and security and serenity.
The stream you have been looking for is right in front of you.
And it leads to a pool of sparkling,
Crystal clear water.
As you move closer,
You can dip your hand into the water.
And it feels refreshing and cleansing.
As you slowly walk round the edge of the pool,
You decide to rest for a while.
And you find somewhere comfortable to sit and relax.
It feels wonderful to sit down on the cool grass.
And as you do so,
You stretch your legs.
The sounds of the water and the forest and the heat of the sun allow deeper and deeper relaxation.
Staying deeply relaxed,
You are starting to sense another person there with you.
As you look around,
You notice a beautiful presence standing close to the pool.
You realize that this is your inner guide.
A peaceful being of love and positive energy and infinite wisdom.
It seems so natural that you are here in this moment.
In this moment,
You are in the presence of the water.
It seems so natural that you are here in this moment.
In this place with your inner guide.
And you can invite him or her to come and sit with you.
As your guide comes over and sits down,
You realize that this is a perfect time to ask questions and listen for the answers.
Your guide has all the answers you are needing in this moment.
