Notice all the places your body is being supported and held right now.
See if you can surrender to that surface even more.
Bring your attention now to your breathing.
Notice how the air feels as it moves in and out of your nostrils or your mouth.
Allow your forehead and your eyes to soften.
Let your jaw and your mouth soften and relax.
Encourage your neck and shoulders to soften and release any tension or tightness as you breathe.
We will be connecting with various aspects in nature and we'll begin with the groundedness of trees.
I'd like you to think of,
Imagine,
Or sense a strong,
Sturdy,
Grounded tree.
It could be a tree you've seen or see often.
It could be a picture you've seen of a beautiful tree or it could be any tree that comes to mind right now.
See if you can imagine or think of a beautiful,
Strong,
Rooted tree.
Now I'd like you to sense,
Feel,
Or imagine that your body is as strong,
Grounded,
And rooted as that tree.
Like your body is a tree trunk with roots that go deep into the earth.
Feel what it's like to be rooted and grounded like a mighty tree.
Weather patterns pass by and you remain strong,
Grounded,
And rooted to the earth.
Stay with this image or feeling for the next several breaths.
You can say or think,
I am as strong as a tree.
I am rooted and grounded.
I am as strong as a tree.
I am rooted and grounded.
Good.
Now let's shift to the sky.
Imagine,
Sense,
Or think of a clear,
Blue,
Cloudless sky.
Notice the vast,
Expansive space.
Now I'd like you to see,
Sense,
Or feel that your mind is like that clear,
Open sky.
Spacious,
Peaceful,
Wide-open sky mind.
If a thought comes,
You can see it like a cloud that exists without affecting the sky or it can simply pass right on by.
Take a moment now to feel,
Sense,
Or think of your mind like an open,
Clear sky.
You can think or say,
My mind is a clear,
Open sky.
Thoughts are clouds passing by.
My mind is a clear,
Open sky.
Thoughts are clouds passing passing by.
Good.
Now let's shift to the image of a flower.
Picture or think of one of your favorite flowers in full bloom.
Notice the colors or patterns of the flower.
Imagine its fragrance.
Now I'd like you to tap into your heart and imagine that your heart is open like a beautifully bloomed flower.
Feel your heart open and fall.
You can say or think,
My heart is open and filled with love.
My heart is open and filled with love.
Finally,
Let's shift now to the energy of water.
Imagine,
Sense,
Or think of a beautiful body of water.
It could be a place you've been to or a photo you've seen.
It could be completely in your imagination.
It could be a waterfall,
A river,
Or a babbling brook.
Or you might choose the ocean,
Or a lake,
Or a crystal-clear swimming hole.
Just go with whatever comes up.
Imagine,
Sense,
Or think of a beautiful body of water.
Now imagine that this water is filled with healing properties and your entire body can receive this healing water in whatever way comes to you.
If it's a waterfall,
You can imagine yourself underneath the water as it pours over your body.
If it's a river,
You might imagine yourself on a sandy shore with the river water gently flowing around you.
You might see yourself peacefully bathing in a freshwater pond or a natural hot spring.
Or you might think of,
Or sense,
Or imagine yourself being gently rocked by ocean waves.
Take a moment now to choose your soothing scene in water.
As your body receives this soothing water,
You can even imagine its healing properties penetrating your skin and joining the water inside your body.
Whatever comes to you,
You can say or think,
I flow through my day like peaceful water.
I am in the flow.

When you're ready,
You can gently bring your attention back to the surface beneath you.
Notice all the places your body and the surface meet.
If you'd like,
