This brief meditation will help you experience a peaceful inner bath. First, you'll be guided to think of someone, someplace, or something that you truly love. You will then have the opportunity to expand that feeling and fill your entire body up while you bathe in the healing feeling of love.

So get yourself as comfortable as you possibly can with no distractions.

Just giving yourself the gift of these few moments to lower your stress and fill yourself up.

First,

I'd like to ask you to think of something or someone that you truly love.

Something or someone that just opens your heart.

It might be your favorite place in nature,

Your favorite tree,

Your favorite flower.

It might be an animal or a person that you truly love.

Just think of something or more than one thing that fills your heart with a feeling of love.

And as you imagine this person,

Place,

Or animal that you truly love,

Notice where in your body you feel it.

It's likely in your heart area,

But it really could be anywhere inside.

Just tune into that feeling inside of you and see if you can begin to let it expand.

Imagine that feeling of love spreading out inside of you like you're filling a bathtub with water.

And as you continue thinking about one or more of the things that you love in this life,

Imagine that feeling expanding and spreading out even more inside of you.

With every breath,

Let that feeling of love spread throughout your entire body.

Imagine it washing through your mind,

The busy mind that tries so hard.

Imagine it washing through every cell of your body.

And continue letting that feeling of love expand and spread out inside of you till you're completely filled with it.

You can even imagine it spreading beyond your body so you're bathing in it,

Filled with it and bathing in it.

And you can stay here as long as you'd like and know that you can recall this feeling any time.

And whenever you're ready,

Just give your body a little stretch and gently prepare to transition into your day.

Thank you.

Nice to notice that the love you feel towards something is something you carry inside and can not only share towards this"something" but also inside of yourself.

Love the simplicity and space to bring real meditation practice and metta into this, without the distraction of music trying to guide emotions. A beautiful, grounded practice and introduction to a longer meditation. Thank you 🙏🏼
