When you're trying to make a decision and you're simply stuck,
Your mind keeps thinking about the past or the future or how it might or might not turn out and it's running a hundred miles an hour,
That's when we have to stop and ask our heart what information it has for us.
Oftentimes our mind and our heart are focused on two very different things and ensuring that we get input from both our mind and our heart can help the decision be made faster and easier.
In this guided meditation,
We're gonna calm our mind down and connect with our heart to get the information that it has for us about this decision.
So let's go ahead and start by getting into a comfortable position.
This can be seated or laying down,
Whatever works best for you.
As you're settling in,
Close your eyes,
Begin to turn your attention to your breath,
Taking deep inhales and even longer exhales,
Allowing your nervous system to calm and center to your heart.
Now,
Imagine you have a tether from your root chakra going down to the core of the earth.
This tether can be made of any material you want and you can tie it around the core in any way that you want.
This connection to the earth's core allows you to be grounded and stable.
Now,
Imagine from the core,
Going up that tether is mother earth's healing energy.
It begins to flow in through your feet,
Moving up your legs,
Moving up through your pelvic area,
Up through your stomach and your chest,
Moving into your throat,
Up your head and out through your crown chakra.
This energy continues up into the sky,
Connecting the earth and the stars,
Creating a channel of energy running through you,
Bringing peace and healing.
Now,
Call to mind the decision that you've been struggling to make.
Place your hand on your heart and ask your heart,
What do I need to know about this decision?
Now,
Ask your heart what it thinks you should do.
Asking your heart if there's anything else that you need to know about this right now.
Thank your heart for the information that it has provided you.
You can lay your hand down from your heart and just take a moment to process all the information that you've received.
When you're ready,
Go ahead and open your eyes and begin to acclimate yourself to the room around you.
Noticing the colors,
The light,
And beginning to move your hands and feet,
Bringing yourself fully back to the present moment.
When you're ready,
I encourage you to grab a journal and write down what information came up.
Then,
Take a little bit of a break so that your subconscious can begin to process that information.
Come back and read what you have written and see if your decision is easier to make.
Now,
Sometimes this can take multiple days for the information to come to you.
It can take a long time for the information to fully integrate and come to a conclusion.
If this is the case,
Repeating this meditation will continue to give you the next level insights that you need to make your final decision.
