To begin,
Find a comfortable place to sit with your back supported.
Let your eyes close.
Take a deep,
Refreshing breath in,
And on the exhale,
Let everything go.
Begin to sink back into your body as your body sinks into your chair.
Allow your breathing to fall into a simple rhythm,
Like ocean waves flowing in and out.
This meditation is the stillness between the waves and the silence between each breath.
A place where you can refresh your spirit and restore your soul.
Drop your focus into the center of your being.
See if you can find that still,
Small place where everything is calm,
Like a quiet library in the center of your soul.
Rest here and breathe.
Bring yourself back to a place of peace.
Allow yourself to be in this moment,
Without any pressure,
Judgment,
Or need to move on.
Notice how you feel.
Accept and embrace yourself as you are.
Ask yourself if there is anything your soul needs right now.
Between the sound of the chimes,
Take a few quiet moments to listen.
Next,
Give yourself a few moments for gratitude.
Give thanks for all the special people,
Places,
Animals,
And experiences that make your life unique.

Imagine a bright star shining just above your head.
The star opens up and releases a sparkling rose gold light into your aura.
The light spirals down the sides of your energy field,
From the crown of your head to the soles of your feet,
Cleansing,
Strengthening,
And renewing.
You feel all heaviness release into the ground beneath you,
And your heart becomes light.
You see yourself stepping into the new year with your head held high.
Your mind is clear and your emotions are bright.
You carry a lantern of peace and love that lights the way ahead of you.
Your feet are connected to the earth,
And your eyes are on the horizon.
You know the path of happiness and peace,
And you walk it gladly.
