Begin to lie here on the ground as you prepare for the practice of yoga nidra.
Allow your feet to go a little bit wider than your hips.
Heels in,
Toes out.
The arms will come down by your sides.
Pause laser.
Soften into stillness.
As you begin to feel your physical body on the earth.
The journey of yoga nidra is to relax into five layers of the body.
Each layer going a little deeper into yourself.
Begin to follow my voice.
Your attention on the sole of your right foot.
Right shin bone.
Right calf muscle.
Right knee cap.
Right thigh.
The back of your right leg,
The hamstring.
Into your right hip.
Right glute muscle.
Right rib cage.
Right shoulder.
The upper part of your right arm.
Right forearm.
Palm of your right hand.
The right side of your face.
The back side on the right of your head.
The entire right side of your body.
The sole of your left foot.
Left shin.
Left calf muscle.
Left knee cap.
Left thigh.
Left hip muscle.
Left hip.
Left glute.
Left rib cage.
Left shoulder.
Left upper arm.
Left forearm.
The back of your left hand.
The left side of your face.
The front side.
The back side of your head on the left.
Your entire left side of the body.
Your entire body.
Your entire body.
As you begin to bring your awareness now to your breath.
Inhale from the base of your spine to the crown of your head.
Exhale from the crown of your head to the base of your spine.
Inhale from the base up to the crown.
And exhale from the crown down to the base.
Let your breath follow the spine.
Inhale up,
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
Exhale down.
At peace,
At ease as you hear the sound of the ocean,
You see the sun.
And as you can see the sun setting on the horizon,
Think of something that you wish to have now.
Something that you wish to see here in this moment.
See it happening.
See it now.
As you watch the sun set,
You envision it in your mind.
And from the sun setting on the horizon,
The sound of the ocean going as you draw deeper into yourself from the mind into another bliss.
Where when you look out past the horizon,
All you see is stars.
Inside and out,
You feel a deep sense of joy.
Peace and ease coming through every cell of your body.
Maybe even a gentle smile comes over you as this moment fills you with complete anemone.
You look at the deepest bliss of this moment.
When the mind wanders,
Come back to feeling infinite bliss.
As we look up the horizon,
There is no end and all you feel is joy.
There is a silence now inside and out.
.
.
Just bring your awareness back to the earth you lie on.
Feel your physical body here now.
Feel the body.
Feel the ground or the floor or the couch,
Whatever is behind you or below you,
Simply feel it.
As you prepare to awaken yourself from the open intro,
Don't move the body,
Just allow the eyes to open.
Take a few deep breaths and choose,
Choose to continue to lie here or move on with your day,
With your evening.
