Find your way into a comfortable seated position.
Preferably to sit up onto a block,
Bolster,
Or pillow.
In this way you'll elevate your hips higher than your knees,
Creating an opening within your hips and knee joints.
Settle into your seat as you arrive.
Stack your shoulders over your hips.
Bend your knees,
Cross one ankle in front of the other.
Place your hands here onto your thighs,
Palms face down,
At a place where your elbows relax back by the rib cage.
Begin to tuck your chin slightly and gaze forward.
Gaze forward towards your nose down to the earth.
Lengthen your side body long as you extend up and out through the crown of your head.
Continue to gaze.
Gaze forward.
Keep gazing forward so much that your eyes become heavy and your face begins to soften.
As the face continues to soften,
Let your eyes get heavier and heavier.
Let your eyes become so heavy that you can no longer keep your eyelids open.
As the eyes soften closed,
Begin to notice how the shoulder blades,
The scapulas,
Support the back of your heart.
With that awareness,
Keep your chest lifted high and your heart open.
Breathe into your heart space.
Breathe into your heart space.
Feel the support of the scapula bones on your back holding your heart and as you breathe,
Breathe into your heart.

It's a wonderful way to start your day as you bring your awareness to your heart held high.

You breathe into your heart and you draw your awareness to how you feel this morning.
And as you notice what is alive and present for you in the feeling heart body,

What do you need or desire to grow today?
It could be as simple as I am love.
Say it to yourself three times in the present tense,
Your intention for the day.
Allow yourself to sit here within your intention,
Your heart's desire as long as you have.
