This is a solar plexus chakra meditation.
The chakra system can be viewed as our spiritual nervous system.
Just like we tune into the physical body for feedback,
We can tune into the chakra system for intuitive guidance and self-care.
The solar plexus chakra sits in the space between the navel and the sternum.
It's housed in the upper abdomen region.
It's the place of digestion and it's associated with transformation.
It is the third chakra and sits above the sacral chakra.
The solar plexus chakra represents our place of personal power,
Freedom,
And choice.
It's self-confidence.
It's how we manifest.
It's where we wield our giving and receiving energy.
Gut feelings,
Emotional intelligence,
And intuition are all part of the solar plexus.
This chakra is typically associated with the color yellow or a shade of yellow.
When out of balance,
We may feel like we are giving from a place of emptiness or taking on too much responsibility.
We could feel like we are victims in the world we see because we are giving our power away too much in the external.
High insecurity,
Low self-confidence,
And fear-based thinking could be very present.
We could feel very arrogant,
Impulsive,
Competitive,
Or power-hungry.
When in balance,
We are sitting in our place of power.
We are in our throne.
We have the ability to set and hold healthy boundaries.
We will feel connected to self,
A sense of purpose,
Motivation,
Confidence,
And have the ability to navigate experiences with discernment.
We are self-sovereign.
We will now begin.
Find a comfortable position for your body.
This can be seated or lying down,
And begin to breathe.
Drop into the center of your chest.
As you breathe in,
Feel your chest,
Rib cage,
And belly expand.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the chest,
Rib cage,
And belly empty.
Feel your body breathe,
And meditate on the sound of your breath.
With your imagination and your intuitive senses,
Start to drop down into your solar plexus chakra located in your abdomen.
Allow yourself to connect.
Feel it.
Ask your solar plexus chakra to reveal anything that needs to be seen,
Heard,
Or acknowledged.
And without any judgment,
Be with any information that comes back to you.
You may experience colors,
Feelings,
Memories,
Symbols,
Imagery,
Or physical sensations in the body.
For the next few minutes,
Allow yourself to receive any information that comes forward,
And keep breathing.
And as you breathe in,
Feel your body expand,
And begin to breathe.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the chest,
Rib cage,
And belly expand.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the chest,
Rib cage,
And belly empty.
And as you breathe in,
Feel your body expand,
And begin to breathe.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the chest,
Rib cage,
And belly empty.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the chest,
Rib cage,
And belly empty.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the chest,
Rib cage,
And belly empty.
Now,
Ask your solar plexus if there is anything needed from you today.
Sometimes,
It's just about acknowledgement and holding space for the information we receive.
Ask if anything is needed,
And see what comes back to you intuitively.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the chest,
Rib cage,
And belly empty.
Take a breath in and breathe out.
Make your solar plexus for connection today and begin to imagine it filling up with a diamond shimmering light.
Feel it.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Slowly begin to release your focus on the solar plexus and come back to your entire body.
Notice your whole body.
Notice the temperature on your skin.
You may start to bring in little movements,
Starting with your fingertips and your toes.
Allow your head to move a little from left to right.
And when you are ready,
You can blink your eyes open to the room.
