This is a root chakra meditation.
The chakra system can be viewed as our spiritual nervous system.
Just like we tune into the physical body for feedback,
We can tune into the chakra system for intuitive guidance and self-care.
The root chakra is the root chakra of the body.
The root chakra is the root chakra of the body.
The root chakra is located at the base of our spine.
It's our foundation.
It represents safety,
Security,
Trust,
And it is a hub for our internal belief systems.
When out of balance,
We may feel mistrusting,
Unsupported,
And insecure in one or multiple areas of our life.
We may feel unsafe within the self and the world we live in.
When in balance,
We may feel a sense of internal safety,
Security,
Trust,
Wholeness,
And rooted in the self.
We will now begin.
Find a comfortable position for your body.
This can be seated or lying down.
And begin to relax.
Or lie down.
And begin to breathe.
Drop into the center of your chest.
As you breathe in,
Feel your chest and rib cage expand.
And as you breathe out,
Feel the chest and rib cage empty.
Feeling your body breathe freely.
And meditating on the sound of your breath.
With your imagination and your intuitive senses,
Start to drop down,
Down into your root chakra.
And begin to feel the breath.
And begin to feel the breath.
And begin to feel the breath.
And begin to feel the breath.
And begin to feel the breath.
Drop down,
Down into your root chakra,
Located at the base of your spine.
Allow yourself to connect.
Feel it.
Ask your root chakra to reveal anything that needs to be seen,
Heard or acknowledged.
Without any judgment,
Be with any information that comes forward.
Colors,
Feelings,
Memories,
Images,
Words,
A person,
A place,
Or any sensation in the body.
For the next few minutes,
Allow yourself to receive any information that comes forward.
And keep breathing.

Take a breath in and breathe out.
Thank your root chakra for connection today and begin to imagine it filling up with a diamond shimmering light.
Feel it.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Now slowly begin to release your focus on the root chakra and come back to your entire body.
Notice your body.
Notice the temperature on your skin.
Notice the sounds in the room.
You may start to bring in little movements starting with your fingertips and your toes.
You might allow your head to move a little from left to right.
And when you are ready,
You can blink your eyes open to the room.
