Big Dreams Meditation.
In a quiet place where you can be free of distractions,
Find a space to sit comfortably.
It may be on a comfortable chair,
Cushions on the floor,
A yoga mat.
Wherever it is,
Just choose to sit down now and rest your feet gently,
Either on the floor,
Cross-legged,
Or a way that feels comfortable.
When you feel ready,
Gently close your eyes.
As you breathe in,
You say to yourself,
I am breathing in.
As you breathe out,
You say,
I am breathing out.
Breathing in,
I am breathing in.
Breathing out,
I am breathing out.
Just continue that breathing rhythm a few more times,
In your own time and your own way.
Imagine yourself now in a picture of nature,
Anywhere in the world.
It may be a beach,
A garden,
A tropical island,
A waterfall,
The snow,
A mountain.
Wherever this picture of nature is,
Just choose to imagine yourself there now.
Allow all of your senses to come alive.
What can you see in this picture of nature?
What can you hear in this picture of nature?
What can you smell in this picture of nature?
What can you touch in this picture of nature?
And what can you taste in this picture of nature?
Just breathe that in now,
Feeling more relaxed with each new breath.
Allowing the setting of nature to calm you,
Rejuvenate you and relax you.
Imagine now noticing a beautiful place to sit in this picture of nature.
It may be a comfortable rock,
A beautiful spot on the sand.
There may even be a day bed in this picture of nature,
Inviting you to recline on it.
Imagine now sitting in this picture of nature on your seat of choice,
Just taking another moment to breathe in this beautiful setting and allow it to fill you up in every way,
Continuing to allow those senses to come alive.
And now imagine it's 12 months from now,
A year from today.
A lot has happened in your year over the last 12 months.
Just fast forward into time now and imagine it is a year from today.
Imagine as you look up in the sky you see gentle clouds floating above,
Just soft,
Billowy clouds.
Imagine now that each cloud represents one of your dreams a year from now,
One of your dreams come true.
Imagine now just an image or an idea,
Words or sounds,
Or even a movie taking place that represents that dream coming true.
It's as if you're living it now.
Just take in all of the detail.
It may be a relationship,
Work,
Home life,
Health,
Travel,
Hobbies,
Passions,
Friendships.
Whatever you would love it to be,
Just allow it to form on that cloud now.
Take it all in.
And now imagine as that cloud drifts away,
Another one reappears.
It's a new cloud representing another dream come true in a year from now.
Just allow it to form into your mind,
In your closed eyes,
Into your heart,
Into your being.
Take in all of the detail.
Get a sense of it now.
And now imagine as that cloud drifts away,
Another cloud appears representing another dream come true a year from now.
Just take in all of the detail and allow it to fill you up with love,
Fulfillment,
Gratitude,
And happiness.
You may stay in this setting as long as you need,
As long as you desire,
Allowing new clouds to form in the sky representing new dreams come true for your future that you would love to create,
Receive,
And live.
And then when you feel ready,
You may gently open your eyes and return to present time,
Back into the space,
Back into the here and now.
Grab a journal and a pen and write down anything that came to mind,
That formed on those clouds,
Any feelings that you felt during that meditation,
Any ideas,
Any thoughts.
Write it all down and keep writing until you feel complete.
