This yoga nidra will guide you into a relaxed state to revitalize your body and mind.
Start by making yourself completely comfortable as you come to lay down,
Letting your eyes close with soft eyelids and your eyes heavy in your sockets while you allow all the micro muscles behind the eyes to relax.
The whole face is relaxed so releasing any tension from your jaws,
From your forehead.
Face is soft,
Whole body soft.
Let's take three beautiful grounding breaths here together.
Start by taking a full relaxed inhale in through the nose,
Filling up the whole lungs and hold for a moment at the top of your inhale and then release as you sigh out through the mouth all the way,
Making a sound as you do so.
Then again a full deep inhale,
Feel the lungs expand,
Hold at the top and sigh out as you feel the body relax a little further.
Now one last time,
A soothing full inhalation and as you sigh out let the whole body rest heavily within this form,
Allowing your natural breath to return.
While laying in this stillness,
Embedding the knowledge within your body that for these upcoming minutes there's really nothing you need to do or achieve.
You can let go what you were doing before and will do after this and just rest here for now,
Keeping awareness softly resting in your relaxed body,
Softly resting on the movements of your natural breath.
The effortless ways that you feel maybe just very subtly in different areas of your trunk,
The chest,
The belly,
Gentle movements,
Full awareness.
Now from your trunk,
Flow awareness into the right thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger and little finger.
All five fingers,
Palm of the hand,
Back of the hand,
Wrist,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Right shoulder,
Right waist,
Hip,
Thigh,
Knee,
Back of the knee,
Lower leg,
Ankle,
Heel,
Sole of the foot,
Top of the foot,
All the toes of the right foot,
Whole right side of the body,
The left thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger and little finger.
All five fingers,
Palm of the hand,
Back of the hand,
Left wrist,
Forearm,
Elbow,
Upper arm,
Shoulder,
Left side of the waist,
Hip,
Thigh,
Knee,
Back of the knee,
Lower leg,
Ankle,
Heel,
Sole of the foot,
Top of the foot,
All five toes,
Whole left side of the body at once.
Now feel the throat,
The lips,
The lower lip and the upper lip,
The inside of the mouth,
Inside of the right cheek,
Inside of the left cheek,
The whole nose,
Right nostril,
Left nostril,
Space between the eyebrows,
Forehead,
Crown of the head,
Back of the head,
Back of the neck.
Now feel the whole spine at once,
Whole spine filled with your attention.
Feel the energizing effect of filling your whole spine with your awareness.
Now feel the right leg,
The left leg,
The right arm and the whole body at once,
Letting the body recharge just by the simple fact of holding it within your loving awareness.
Now flow awareness into the heart space,
Filling the heart,
Energizing the heart with your awareness.
And on your next inhalation,
You see or sense in any other way a thin potent threat of golden light travel up from the heart through the chest,
The throat,
Into the head,
Towards the middle of the middle of the brain.
And then as you exhale,
That potent beam of golden divine energy descends down back into the heart.
And then on your next breath cycles,
Keep following the movement of that golden energy threat,
Weaving it up from the heart into the middle of the head on every inhalation and softly releasing it down back into the heart.
Every time you exhale,
Connecting the heart to mind,
Energizing mind with the heart's energy.
Now release this breath focus while resting awareness in that same spot in the middle of the middle of the head and start to connect to the sense of space inside the head,
Feeling into the expansive spaciousness inside the whole head.
Now start to also feel into the space surrounding the head,
Feeling both the space inside and outside of the head.
Feeling now into the space inside the whole body,
Noticing the spaciousness of your whole body,
The internal space of the volume of the whole and start to connect to the vastness of space surrounding and covering the body to the back,
The front,
The back,
The front,
The back,
The front,
The sides,
All the space outside of the body.
Feeling the infinitely reaching space surrounding your body,
Allowing your body,
Your awareness to dissolve into that expansive space,
Allowing it to drift off into the infinite space.
Now feel into the body again,
Touching the ground beneath you and let yourself be filled with a sense of deep gratitude for your for your body,
Letting that gratitude fill you up.
As you repeat mentally after me three times,
My body feels deeply energized and potently alive.
Feeling the ground again,
Sensing into the body's current state,
Feeling your breath as you slowly gently allow the breath to deepen again and by doing so without any rush,
Preparing the body and mind to come back into a normal state of wakefulness,
Still feeling this echo of this beautiful practice in your whole body.
Feel those effects of this nervous system reset flowing through you while feeling into that state,
Start to bring some very small movements back into fingers and toes and maybe you want to linger here a bit longer but if you're ready you could gently start to open your eyes.
