Who's ready to go on a little nature walk from the comfort of their own home?
Welcome to this nature walk visualisation meditation.
Firstly,
Simply lie down on your back with your eyes closed and your palms up.
Start to slow your breathing.
In through the nose.
Two,
Three,
Four.
And out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And in.
And out.
Fantastic.
So you can start focusing on the breath now.
Start to visualise yourself standing in nature.
Visualise somewhere new if you can.
Could be a grass field,
A beach or mountains.
Wherever your mind takes you.
Take a good look around.
What do you see?
Now begin to notice any smells,
Sounds or sensations.
Can you smell flowers?
Hear birds or feel the wind on your skin.
You see a path ahead of you leading up to a hill.
Start to walk slowly on your path and take it all in.
Look all around you.
Look up at the sky.
Look down at the ground.
And then look at the path and the distance.
The only thing between you and the bottom of the hill is a small bridge.
Get over the bridge and enjoy the view.
If you walk over to the side of the bridge take a really good look down.
And slowly walk to the other end of the bridge.
Now you're at the other side of the bridge and you start to walk up the hill.
What can you see on the hill as you begin to walk up?
You're around halfway up the hill now.
An animal is walking or flying alongside you.
It wants to be your friend.
Take the animal with you towards the top.
This could be any animal,
Whichever one your imagination decides upon first.
Are you and the animal communicating either verbally or non-verbally as you walk towards the top?
You're approaching the top now and can see a bench.
Walk over with the animal and sit down on the bench with it.
Look at the incredible view of your animal friend.
Smile as you relax and enjoy the view.
You and your animal friend turn to each other in mutual appreciation of the view and the journey up the hill.
Finally say goodbye to your animal friend and lie down on the grass.
As you lie down,
Begin to feel grateful for this journey and you enjoy giving yourself a chance to relax.
Your journey is over now.
Feel free to continue to lie down in peace or slowly open your eyes and continue your day.
Take time to process your journey and consider any deeper meanings that could be hidden within it.
And please feel free to share your journey with me on any of my channels.
Thank you for listening and remember.
No matter our physical boundaries,
The mind is always free to explore.
Namaste.
