This meditation is called You Are Not Alone inspired by the book Outsmart Your Pain by Dr Christiane Wolf. When we have pain and suffering we can be so hard on ourselves. Like we are wrong or failing in some way. This can be very isolating. Of course, we want our old lives back. Of course, we don’t want pain. It is just as human to not want pain as it is to have pain in the first place. And, it is also human to need others, to connect to others. This meditation helps this.
