Hey there,
Friend.
My name is Anthony,
And welcome to Entering a Deeper Level of Mind.
And that's exactly what we're going to do in this practice today.
You can use this practice before a creative project to drop into flow,
Or if you're in the middle of working on a creative project and you feel stuck,
And you need some inspiration,
Or before going into an important meeting or an event to help center yourself.
Or really,
You can just use it anytime you feel stuck or anxious to help reset your energy and reconnect with your inner guidance.
This practice is like a reset button for your nervous system,
And a reminder that peace,
Wisdom,
And clarity aren't things you have to find,
Chase,
Or wait for.
They are states that you can create and tap into anytime.
So let's get started.
So begin by gently settling yourself wherever you are right now.
Close your eyes.
Feel your body in your chair.
Notice your feet grounded to the floor.
And if it feels good,
Bring one hand gently to your heart.
And take a slow,
Steady,
Deep breath in for a count of five.
And a slow,
Steady breath out for a count of five.
And a slow,
Steady breath out for a count of five.
Inhale for five.
And exhale for five.
And just gently stay with that.
Slow and steady on the inhale.
Slow and releasing on the exhale.
And begin to imagine your breath is flowing in and out of your heart.
Sense the inhale through the heart,
And the exhale out of the heart.
A gentle rhythm that's created.
Between your breath and your heart.
Let this be your anchor.
Now as you keep sticking with this rhythm of your heart and your breath,
All to mind something you deeply appreciate.
It could be a person in your life,
Your pet,
A great memory you have.
Something that brings you joy or gratitude.
Whatever is the first thing that comes,
Immerse yourself in it.
Feel that appreciation spreading through your chest.
You keep that rhythm of your breath in and out of your heart.
Sensing the energy moving into the heart,
Moving out of the heart.
As you think of something extremely pleasurable,
Wonderful,
That brings you so much joy and gratitude.
And while you're in this state,
See if you can notice what happens in your body.
See if you can notice your body settle.
Your mind clear.
Your awareness open.
You've shifted your physiology.
You're calm.
You're centered.
You're safe.
You're in flow.
And now let's notice what happens if we go deeper.
I'm going to count down from 10 to 1.
And with each descending number that I call out,
I want you to imagine your body relaxing more deeply.
Dropping further and further down into relaxation.
You might even picture yourself being in an elevator.
Descending one floor at a time from the 10th floor to the first floor.
And as the elevator lowers,
You feel yourself sinking,
Feeling lighter in your mind.
Feeling your body getting heavier,
Feeling your heart expanding more and more.
Seven.
Getting into a deeper level of mind.
Five.
Four.
Three.
You are now at a deeper level of mind.
Those elevator doors have now opened and you are in your favorite place.
So I want you to call to mind your favorite place.
What is the place anywhere in the world?
It could be real.
It could be imagined.
It could be in your home.
It could be a place you traveled.
A place that brings you so much joy and comfort.
Peace and love for life.
Call it to mind.
What do you see there?
What do you hear there?
Who might be there with you?
Take it all in.
Absorb every inch of it.
And allow yourself to taste those emotions.
And while feeling this connection to this place,
I want you to take three slow,
Conscious breaths through your heart.
Five seconds in the heart and five seconds out.
Give one more glance to that favorite place.
Soak it all in,
Feeling the goodness this place ignites in you.
And one more breath through the heart.
Beautiful work.
You can stay here in this state and keep basking in the relaxation.
Or you can go forth now,
Returning to whatever you were doing or working on.
You are a conscious creator of your reality.
And you can shift it anytime you want,
In any way you want.
Never forget that.
Thanks for joining me on this practice today.
Have a great day.
Much love.
